That isn't a bad deal to get those coupons for larger amounts of spending but the discount is the same. $10 off of $50 is still 20%.

Thank you. We are updating our workshop and this will come in handy.
  3. Thank you OP so very much! I just ordered two in separate orders for gifts. Again, thank you!
  4. I went to another VS today in a little less "uppity" area and they had the extra 50% off. I got some great deals. Thanks for posting this.
  5. The Waldenbooks at my local mall is closing. Tomorrow is the last day. They had some things for 75% off but most of the books were 40% off. Of course I found enough books to spend way more money than I should have.
  6. I went in today and in SC, there are many things 75% off but no extra 50%. I did buy a few things but I wanted that extra 50 %
  7. My LNT has a big note on the door saying that they will no longer take ANY LNT or competitor coupons.
  8. There is a great site online that sells all kinds of pet supplies much cheaper than anywhere I have found. It is kvvet.com. The same puppy training pads sell at Petsmart for $26.95 per pack and they are $16.95 with free shipping through this place.
  9. My store wasn't on the original list but now they are all closing. I went today and there were NO deals at all. Nothing marked down but they had signs everywhere stating that they would not honor coupons, competitor coupons, and no checks. They only accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  10. Probably my worst BF was last year. My daughter and I left home at 11pm on Thanksgiving night. We had spent a couple of hours Thanksgiving Day making a list of stores we were hitting, items to be purchased and the time the stores opened. We knew we could be out of some stores before others opened. We stopped at a convenience store for coffee and some light snacks before heading to Best Buy. We got to the BB parking lot and the line was already extremely long so we went to Sears. We were the only people there so we sat in the car. When another car pulled up around 4am, we decided to get in line. My daughter decided to count her cash prior to leaving the car. Now mind you, I asked her twice before leaving home if she had her wallet and her cash. She assured me that she did. Well, all of a sudden, she was in utter panic mode because her wallet was gone and she had over $700 in there. We called home and asked DH to look in her room for her wallet. He told us that the wallet was not there. We left Sears and went back to the convenience store and asked the clerk if he had found a wallet. Nope! We ended up driving back home (about 20 miles) to find her wallet right in her room where we had asked DH (that does not stand for "dear" either lol) to look. Of course, we were both relieved but mad because we were going to be late for everything. Anyway, we left home again and went to K-Mart (it was closer) and got everything I had on my list. We then went to Sears and yep, we got everything there on our list. We left Sears and went to BB and figured we were wasting time but we got a 22 inch monitor and an external hard drive which were our two main items. We did miss some things like our Radio Shack purchases and our Target purchases but I guess it wasn't a bad ending to a horrible start.

  12. I bought some of that too and loved it. I can't find it anymore either and wonder if they have stopped making it.
  13. You are 100% correct about how the carrier picks up the phone (except I didn't know all the technical stuff like you). You can buy any phone for our AT&T carrier and it will pick it with no problems. This was why I didn't understand having to wait for a tech to buy one. I did make hubby wait for another phone LOL. He got tired of waiting and went to Wal-Mart yesterday and bought himself one. And all they did was scan it through the cash register. No tech and no activation. Works like a charm! Maybe if he has to buy his own now he might be more careful ??
  14. Thank you for posting this! I went this morning and got my doggie bones. I will go back tomorrow for more.
  15. These were on sale at my local Target in Columbia for 30% off today. They had several.
  16. My daughter got one of the rooms for Vegas in September for $9.68 total.
  17. Hi...my name is Donna. I live in South Carolina and have one daughter who is 24 (gosh that makes me sound old). My daughter got me addicted to Gottadeal and Black Friday shopping about 4 years ago. It's all her fault LOL. I have a BS in Business with a management concentration and a MBA with a human resource specialization. I am currently trying to finish a PhD in Applied Management but I had rather be shopping!!
  18. The phone I was getting did not have to be activated. I have done this once before because my DH is very careless with his phone. I went to Target after leaving Best Buy and purchased the "go phone" and inserted the sim card from our plan. No problems and no activation needed. That is my point........why wait on the phone clerks for something that needs NO activation or contract???
  19. Yes, I sure did tell them. I told the store manager and I also sent a very long e-mail.
  20. We are under contract with AT&T/Cingular but DH dropped his phone and broke it and of course I didn't take out the insurance. I previously went to an AT&T store and they suggested instead of paying so much for a phone to just get a prepaid "go phone" and put his sim card in it. They told me that I would still have my coverage but the phone would be less expensive that way. Well, tonight I went to Best Buy to buy the phone. I picked up a "go phone" from the rack and took it to the cash register to pay for it. I was told that I could not pay for it there. I must go to the phone center and pay the clerk there. This is a new thing they are doing. I stood in the phone center for over 20 minutes waiting to pay for the phone. There were two clerks who were doing phone contracts. I then went to customer service and asked if I could pay for the phone and leave since it was a prepaid phone. I was told "no" and that I would have to wait for someone in the phone center. I can understand taking care of the contract business with phones in this "phone center" but it makes no sense to have customers stand around waiting to pay for something that has NO contract. They told me that anything phone related has to be paid for in the phone center. Well, who is going to wait that length of time to simply pay for something? I put the phone down and left. Best Buy needs to either change this policy or put in another clerk to allow customers to simply pay for items.
  21. I know that Williams Sonoma has a half price sale around July but it is the colors that are exclusive to them. I bought a KA Pro 600 last year for $199 in July. It was half price but I had to choose between sage green or emerald green for that price. the emerald green worked great for my kitchen though.
  22. Walgreen's has the $5 off of $20 for Friday, June 13th Here is a link to the coupon (Hope I did this right) http://www.walgreens.com/hotbuys/default.jsp
  23. I would also suggest checking to make sure that it has enough sprayers. I like the ones with sprayers on the bottom, top and in the middle for better water distribution. My previous one only had two sprayers...one top and one bottom and it didn't clean as well as this one.
  24. DD50, Lowe's had a printable 10 off of $25 and Home Depot will take it. I also got some Home Depot coupons in the mail. I got house plants buy 1 get 1 free and $10 off $50. Hope that helps. I am hoping my Home Depot marks down the cherry trees cause I want two soooooo bad.
