I bought an older one from my brother with18 games for $175. I'm pretty happy with my deal. I didn't know this about the dvd drive. I will have to keep that in mind if new games won't play. I bought more games for Christmas, but I don't know if my son has tried them or not. Thanks for the info! :)

The past few days everytime I get on the website there is something wrong. Most of the time, I won't let me add anything to my shopping cart. Now it's updating.. hopefully it will work for me today.

Ours stopped accepting new layaways after Dec. 16th. I dont know when they reopenned though.

Try http://recordedbooks.com It says that the first month is free, but then it's $29.99 a month there after. I buy practically all my audiobooks from ebay. I also check at the Goodwill and Thrift stores. I haven't tried d/ling a audiobook to a mp3 player, but I bought one for my hubby for Christmas. He's overseas and said that they can d/l them for free some place. I'll ask him if it is something that is for public use, or something just for the military there. When I bought the mp3 player, the guy at WM told me that you need at least a 1mb (i think that's right) to even store 1 book. But I don't know how accurate his information is, I haven't checked into it. I hope this helps. :)

I bought: 6 Christmas canisters for $1.75 each 2 dog cookie jars for $2.50 each 1 Santa cookie jar for $2.50 2 sets of 3 candle holders for $1.45 1 White prelit christmas wreath for $2.50 1 big glass gold bowl for my dining room table year round for $2.50 2 candle holders for myself for 86 cents each 1 Bratz gift set with lipstick, nail polish for my neice for 70 cents 12 of the items are for Christmas presents for work for next year. That is IF I don't forget where I store them.

I just went on my bank's website and found that they have one. You can open it for $50. They charge you $10 if you close it before Nov. I think I will check into this for next year. It sounds like a great way to save money for Christmas.

I hit it today and got a sweet pea candle for $10 and some sweet pea body butter for $5. The wallflowers for $6 was so picked over, I didn't find any I wanted. But that lasts until Sat. so hopefully I'll have a chance to get back in there.

I love Value City and wish that we had one in the area. The closest one to us is in Danville Va. It's been awhile since I was there last, but we find some great deals everytime we go.

I would recommend calling the one closest to you. Some may open at differant times. :) EDIT: I called my B&BW and they open at 9am. I'll have to set my clock so I can make sure I get up in time.
