With a 16 yr old and a 10 year old, it's hard to spend the same amount and have the same amount of presents. They both know that the DD - 16, will end up with less gifts but hers more and likely will cost more. Neither of them seem to mind it. As long as they get stuff that they like, they don't have a problem with it.

Yes, as long as you have the ad they will. I don't think there will be a problem price matching dvds or cds.

I checked for Platteville WI, where my sis lives and no 42" there either. Edit: They showed the wrong ad first time I looked. She has the 42" but like mcmc it's over $1000

I don't know if you noticed it about the insignia but it has a $80 mail in rebate. This is from the small print in the ad. REg. price $399.99 - $50 instant savings= $349.99 - $80 mail- in rebate = $269.99 Minimum 3 per store. I thought about this tv before I noticed the small print about the mail in rebate. I'm still on the fence about messing with rebates this year.

My Walmart ad doesn't have the 42" plasma on the front. It looks like it has everything else though. I live in NC.

I've made this using cream cheese and the marshmellow jar stuff. I think it's good with just about any type of fruit.

I would get a paper tomorrow and one on Wednesday also. You never know, they may slip something in tomorrow's paper. As for the layaway, it would depend on what it is. Alot of the BF stuff comes in differant packaging with differant codes and stuff.

I think it all depends on the kid, how responsible they are.. etc, etc. My brother added our nephew (15) on his plan. Boy did he learn the hard way about text messaging. His bill would be anywhere between $200 and $300 a month because of texting. No matter how many times my brother told him to stop the messaging, he wouldn't listen. If it had been me paying the bill, I would have nipped it in the bud with the first bill. But my brother felt sorry for him (long story) and continue giving him chance after chance. He finally got fed up and took the phone away. So now he's stuck with an extra line until the contract is up. We added my daughter (16) when she was 15. She has been pretty good about her minutes. We have the Circle Of Friends thing with Alltel and she knows she has to let me know if she starts talking to anyone more than usual so they can be added. My son (10) wants one now. But he's not responsible enough right now to take care of one. Like other parents have stated, once he starts spending more time away from us, then I will consider adding him to our plan. I'm not sure why he even wants one, he hardly ever uses the phone..lol. I'm sure that will change once he starts liking girls alot more than he does now.

If you have a 24 hour store, get there early and walk the store searching for what you are after. That's just crazy that they had the laptops in frozen foods. Who in the world would go there looking for a laptop??

There's no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to Black Friday Shopping. I've only noticed the main doors opened at my 24 hour store.
