  1. If I remember correctly, Staples usually has their doorbusters online starting Thanksgiving day in VERY limited quantities. Guess we're bringing the laptop with us everywhere to try to get some of these deals!
  2. does that code have a minimum purchase? I found another R2D2 on the site more in my price range that woudl make a good small present for DH. R/C Star Wars R2-D2 Action Figure $29.99 "...this tiny droid is fully controllable from the included lightsaber remote. Authentic R2-D2 sounds, turning head and red LED eye complete the package. " so cool! check out the youtube movie they have of it on the page, hilarious! http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/rc/8cd5/
  3. My Star Wars crazy DS and DH would LOVE this. 33% off right now. Star Wars R2-D2 Trashcan $99.99 Product Features Office Sized Trash Can is A Detailed Model of R2-D2 Stands 24" High Step on R2's center Foot and his Head Pops open to Accept your Trash Removable Interior Can with Handle Makes Trash Removal Easy Durable Vinyl Construction Japan-only Fully Licensed Star Wars Collectable http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/japanfan/89e4/
  4. LOL I understand! Abes of Maine has good deals on camcorders, too. My dad shops from them, great customer service, fast shipping, no tax for most. They have 8 hard drive models under $450 and 3 of those are under $405. Cheapeast is $359. http://www.abesofmaine.com/itemList.do?group1=Video&group2=Camcorders I know those are still out of budget for a lot of people....
  5. depends on the associate. If it's a local store (circuit city, best buy, target, walmart, etc) that carries the TV, MOST associates will price match the website price. Some associates will actually call the store and check the in store price and will only price match that.
  6. Remember... the DVDs for DVD camcorders are only 30 min in length. That means for sporting events longer than 30 min (which is most kid sports events, dance shows, etc) you will have lag time between you loading a new disc into the camcorder. Thats' why we chose miniDV. Hard drive camcorders were out of budget at our time. I think the hard drive camcorder would be what I'd choose today for a new camcorder.
  7. The pink and white bundle for $149 at Sears is really cute... it is this one with the pawprints... http://www.gamingbits.com/content/view/2931/2/ Maybe you should try going to the Friends and Family sale Sunday night at Sears? They should have some then. They have the pink DS lite in stock at Target.com right now. In the BF Target ad they also have advertised DS lite starter kits for $28. I've seen these same kits in store right now for $30. They have a pink case, one animal game, car adapter, cleaning cloth, and extra pen. This is the Hamsterz version, they have Catz, Dogz, and Horsez in store, too. http://www.target.com/Software-Bundle-Hamsterz-Nintendo-Lite/dp/B000XBCZO0/sr=1-5/qid=1194670571/ref=sr_1_5/601-3342530-6743330?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3Abundle%20ds%20lite&page=1 Honestly, I bought the BrainAge bundle for my son, too. He's too young for BA but I will play it (LOL!) and buying a separate case itself was $10. So this way he got the game for $10, I thought it was worth it. Toys R Us has some games for $15 tomorrow. :) Kohls actually had some good deals on DS games, too. And I saw some clearanced at Target.
  8. I saw that after I posted LOL :) Guess I'll just have to shop through here now. :)
  9. I have a Panasonic with similar specs as a miniDV version and absolutely LOVE it. Great color, great image stabilization. Still pictures can be a bit fuzzy once in a while (you'd think at 3mp they wouldn't be that bad) but I didn't buy the camcorder for the pictures. this is the one I have, this is not my review. http://www.epinions.com/content_247447785092 If this DVD one is in your budget and you want a DVD camcorder, this is the one I'd buy. Buy an extended batter for your camcorder, too, and make sure you pick up extra DVD +/- discs. Spend the extra money for a rewriteable DVD if you don't want to keep buying discs. And remember, DVDs only record only 30 min at a time, so stock up on discs
  10. Tell them they have a large following here with people that will spread major positive buzz and word of mouth. I love NewEgg!!! I'd be happy to buy my "toys" through a gottadeal link if they choose here to be an affiliate site.
  11. Rumors TMobile is giving away 2 Roundtrip airline tickets with a NEW 2 year contract.
  12. That's the one we've had for years, too. We bought it on clearance at Walmart for $15. $35 is a great deal, too. Wood is great and construction is solid. Nice neutral color, too. ToysRUS also carries a Princess Bedroom in a box that comes with a matching toy bin and chest. Walmart has had Dora bedroom set for $100 too. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5141138 comes with bed, toy organizer, and table and chair set. It's not online but most Walmarts have it in store. Might be a good present from a grandparent for the holidays :)
  13. Would you be willing to pick up one for me? I don't want to pay outrageous prices but I could pitch in a little for you above the shipping and retail price.
  14. How come they didn't seem to attack other BF ad websites? This bothers me. You'd think with the economy as it is any extra early publicity would HELP a store. I'm very upset at Target now. Do we have their customer service email?
  15. I really do appreciate how they let you keep it up for a few more hours, gotta give them credit there....
  16. Target has a lego set in their BF ad. They have also had some lego sets in the clearance section the last month. They have Mission: Mars on sale this week (the lego sets). Check the clearance section in January @ Target, I stocked up on lego for my son's bday then. I got some Star Wars Lego 50-75% off!! I found this super cool website recently. It has links to TONS of lego sellers and you can search by sets, etc. Lots of good deals if you look around hard enough! http://www.bricklink.com/
  17. I started to save them but it was a pain to save 6-7 pages. So now I'm making shopping lists of things that I actually want and will buy and then will just save that file instead
  18. Azzycat

    BF DVDs

I'm going to pick up a lot of these!!! Kudos for Target for having a great ad!!! I'm so glad we got to see it early so I can budget money for them!!! The one set I was hoping I'd find on BF is the Heroes Season One collection.
  19. But they definately have limited quantities on some things (usually the best electronic deals) and once they are out, they're out. No rain checks. If you are lucky enough, Target DOES do price adjustments within 7 days... so if your store has the same model available before Thanksgiving, you can get price adjustments to get the BF weekend sale prices. And since this is a weekend ad, you can go back Friday-Sunday to get your money back. Just make sure it is the same box/model, etc. Should work fine for the movies I'm after but not necessarily for the electronics I want.
  20. The toys that seem to be the hardest to find so far are Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket (@ Target online, Target stores and disneyshopping.com only) Baby Alive Wet and Wiggles Baby Boy Littlest Pet Shop Around the World Pet Shop Tin (Target exclusive, which only sold for a very, very limited time in limited locations)
  21. From my understanding, they sold it only for a couple of days or weeks on target.com and a few select stores (not mine, I checked several of them daily...seem to be East coast stores) and then they stopped selling the product. I honestly thought they'd have it in the toy catalog or BF ad too. I'm very upset Target doesn't have it anymore. I was going to get it for my kids to share. of course LPS did put out a few new sets in the last month with SOME of the specialized toys, but not all the animals were out.
  22. BUT their 5 year extended warrenty really isn't that bad. I think for the Wii (priced at $250 of course) it was $30. So something under $200 would be $25, I think. Not as low as Walmart's but cheaper than electronic store warrenties. You can buy the warrenty in the electronics department.
  23. My sister called to tell me about this today. She saw this in store and I saw that you can order it online and get FREE SHIPPING on the paper. Not a lot of paper, but it's for charity and it's cute. And it's definately worth the coupons if you use those brands. from their website: PetSmart Charities Holiday Wrapping Paper ... cat and dog designs Product Description: Item: 2811431 The 2007 holiday wrapping paper features the hand-painted artwork of Judy Fleenor. Four designs are available (two dog and two cat).
