I usually like a white Christmas, but this year we will be travelling so I hope it waits until we get home safely!

MIL!!! She always wants to get me clothes, and I don't like sharing my size.

We used to alternate. One year Christmas Eve at my parents' and Christmas Day with the in-laws, then vice versa.

A Christmas Story, hands down!!!

2 years ago I went by myself, last year with my best friend and this year I'll go with hubby.

I used to go to Sears but after a couple of Christmases waiting 1 1/2 hours even though I had an appointment (so of course by the time we got pictures taken the kids were very grumpy) I switched to JCPenney. Last year, though, I took my own pictures and did the photo cards at Walmart. I was really pleased so will probably do that again.

We don't have PP in my area but we have Portrait Innovations. They take 36 pictures so you have a lot to choose from, and they are ready in 15 minutes.

We usually let the kids open 1 present each that night, which is pajamas so they will look nice for Christmas morning pictures.

Our main Christmas tree will go in the living room by the window that is at the front of the house. The kids' smaller tree that has their ornaments on it will go in the family room. There will be a tiny one on the island in the kitchen, and a 4-foot pencil tree will go in the master bedroom.

No, I don't because Santa doesn't wrap what he brings.

I'm new to BF, but it seems like with all the excitement on GottaDeal building up to BF then the madness of the actual day there might be some withdrawal afterwards. Anyone experience this?

Hi-5 comes on TLC in the morning at 7.

My son loves the Doodlebops, but they annoy me. Both my kids love Hi-5, and I even enjoy them!

Last year I bought cute stockings at the Dollar Tree, put in a couple packs of microwave popcorn and a Blockbuster giftcard.

I don't think it's a big deal if you don't know someone because the email I got said to forward it to your friends. I don't think they would let you forward it to everyone you know if they were picky about it.

The TRU Big Book is so much fun! We moved recently and the closes TRU is 3 hours away, so I bet the Sunday paper won't have the Big Book in it. Boo hoo!

I have already bought a couple Christmas presents on ebay--a Jesse McCartney magazine and magic kit for my niece and some My Twinn clothes for my daughter. I will probably be buying for my mother-in-law on ebay, too. I agree that some people really stick it to you on the shipping, but not everyone takes advantage.

I've never been to Walmart on BF, and from what I've been reading here it seems like each WM is different in how they operate on BF. I will be at my parents' house on BF so I will be going to their Walmart which just opened this year. Would I be able to find out the "rules" by calling customer service?

Kygal2003 asked a great question about what to get parents for Christmas. That is a difficult one, but I have an even harder time with the grandparents! They are all in their eighties, and I never have a good idea for them. I feel like I usually end up getting them something stupid because I really have no clue. Any good ideas out there?

I lived in the central part of the state most of my life. About 6 months ago we moved to eastern Ky. Culture shock!
