It will be even crazier than the PS3/Xbox 360 launch. Remember you're standing in line with everyone not just gamers. Please continue discussion here - http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=50978 Here's another interesting thread, would 2PM on Thursday be too early?

That's a good plan. Here's what happened last year. At 11PM there were already 50 people in line. This year BF has received even more media exposure AND add to that the BB 7 hour special with $249 laptop = get in line right after Thanksgiving dinner.

to the forums and I'm glad you discovered our website. Thank you for calling and it was great discussing laptops with you. Don't forget about our laptop comparison chart and the $249 laptop :) RossMAN 415-287-3325

Here's a link to the camcorder deals on BF. You want a MiniDV camcorder and need a FireWire card ($30) on your computer to be able to download the movies to your computer. CamcorderInfo.com is a good resource for reviews.

Then I wouldn't buy either, I'd go to BB at 4PM and get the Panasonic 42" for $999

Alright folks most of you should know the drill by now Just like last year, please post in this thread if you've received your Thanksgiving newspaper with the BF ads. Toshiba 50HM66 TheaterWide 50" DLP HDTV - $1,299.99 Shipped @ Best Buy
RossMAN replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
Here are the specifications for this TV. Technically you could use a DVI to HDMI cable but VGA is recommended. That's available on the more expensive 50HMX96 model. An LCD is a better choice if this will function as a computer monitor. -
First hit on Google.com :)

to the forums and you posted in the correct forum, thank you! Have you checked with your local CostCo or Sam's Club? They usually have $50 - $200 off tires with free installation.

Obviously it varies by city, what's on sale and factors like weather. The majority of veteran Black Friday shoppers have seen lines of 40+ at 10PM. Since you only get ONE CHANCE per year, you don't want to blow it by just a few hours. If you can get in line around 1-2AM and still get what you want then consider yourself very lucky. Personally I wouldn't go any later than 9PM just to be safe. Do not underestimate the power of the internet + media exposure + $249 laptops = hundreds of BFshoppers per store. Please continue "what time should I get in line at BB" discussion in this thread.
