Our Toshiba 50" DLP sits on a rectangular oak coffee table and it fits perfectly. -
No, it means there will be a very limited supply. Maybe around 10, that's just a guess. No. It depends on how popular this TV is and how many people stand in line. Since we cannot predict the future (yet), we don't know. I would get in line around Midnight - 2 AM if you really want this TV. Unfortunately if you really want something, so do 2000 other shoppers in your city. If you don't get in line early, they will and when you arrive at 5AM - it will be SOLD OUT.

Short answer: We don't know. Long answer: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=47261 Moved to Best Buy forum.

Toshiba 50HM66 TheaterWide 50" DLP HDTV - $1,299.99 Shipped @ Best Buy

Samsung sells more DLP's but I have always had good experience with Toshiba TV's. If you're in the market for a DLP with 1080p resolution then I would buy this. -
Fuji is awesome. We just returned from BB where they had 24 of these when they opened. 3 hours later they SOLD OUT. These were flying off the shelves. I bought one and picked up the Fuji 512MB xD media for $24.99 - $10 MIR = $14.99 $99.99 out the door without BF lines and 6 megapixel, is that hot? YES!
-
Door buster means it will be available at 5AM and almost guarantees it will sell out before the doors open. My advice is to get in line early. Early doesn't mean midnight or 3AM, earlier.

The $379 HP @ BB is the better deal. We will release a laptop comparison chart shortly so you can compare them side by side :)

Since we already have a dozen waiting in line threads, let's keep this in the camping thread.

Since it's a no name brand it may not work that great but I have no experience with Dynex. My advice is to buy it today, if it doesn't work return it. Yes it will work on a laptop but don't use it on the HP laptop since that already has built in wireless networking.
-
In general I would get in line around midnight. Please read these threads which should give you an idea of just how "dedicated" some BF shoppers are. Remember they're salivating about BF for 11 months before November hits and they're willing to do anything to get the eMachines desktop. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=50978 http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=48748 http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=50584 http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=49008 http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=54759

Just a few days away.

The HP laptop @ BB is better but that's assuming you have a BB nearby and are willing to stand in line for hours. If that's the case then great, go for it. Windows XP Home and MCE are both built on the same OS, MCE offers some additional media applications. Windows Vista is the newer OS. Not everyone has a Best Buy near them or are willing to stand in line for xx hours for the HP laptop. Exactly. This laptop is perfect to surf the net, word processing, watching DVD movies, burning CD's and DVD's, and it has wireless internet built in. No, this is a Celeron which is slower.

I think it depends on a few different factors which are unknown right now. Are you going alone? Will you have a car with you? Will it be windy or rainy? If it won't be windy or rainy, I would dress warm, get a foldable chair ($10 at your local Walmart), and two packs of hand warmers. Then you won't have to stand on your feet for 5 hours and your hands won't freeze.

That's a tough choice. My wife and I purchased the higher end Toshiba 50" Cinema Series DLP a few months ago and we love it. What's your TV viewing distance? If your viewing distance is under 12' then I would buy the 50" DLP today. Order online and receive free delivery
