Yes you can but you'll need to begin your purchase here. Select notebooks, Inspiron, E1405 and the $649 configuration. I configured a loaded E1405 for $1,157 - 20% = $925.60 http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/MrsHoneybee/delle1405.jpg I've read complaints where the Dell wireless isn't as reliable as the Intel 2200 or 3945. I know someone who owns a Dell laptop with the Dell 1390 802.11b/g wireless and their signal goes in and all out the time. I have the older Intel 2200 802.11b/g and it's solid with great range. When I ordered my new Dell E1405 laptop I paid a little extra for the Intel 3945. If you have any Bluetooth devices like a headset, printer, keyboard, mouse. It's cheaper to buy it elsewhere and do it yourself.

Linksys Compact Wireless G Broadband Router - $11.18 Shipped AR @ Buy.com

Here's a good review of this great wireless router. From the first line of the rebate rules and regulations: -
Here are the recommended upgrades which should help "future proof" this laptop so it isn't obsolete next year Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5200 (1.60GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533 MHz FSB) [add $50 or $2/month1]Express Upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium from XP Media Center Edition [ Free!]FREE Upgrade plus $10 shipping & handling payable at time of redemption 85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery [add $49 or $1/month1]-- or -- 6-cell Primary Battery and 9-cell additional Lithium Ion Battery [add $79 or $2/month1] Intel PRO/Wireless 3945a/g [add $29 or $1/month1]Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Internal (2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate) [$20 or $1/month1]The recommended upgrades are in listed in order of most recommended first. How important is battery life to you? It is a laptop and being free of wires is a beautiful thing. When I bought my Dell Inspiron 700m last year I opted for the higher capacity 8 cell battery and I'm glad I did. I get around 5 hours battery life on a full charge and it's awesome not to be tethered to the wall all the time. An upgrade to the 9 cell battery is only $49 more but the best bargain is the $79 upgrade. You get to keep your original 6 cell and get a 9 cell. So basically for only $30 more you get a 6 cell which is an awesome deal. Total $912 with Core 2 Duo, 9 cell battery and Intel PRO/Wireless 3945a/g.

11:00 PM BB had 100+ people in line CC had around 8

The following took place Thursday 11/23/2006 between 9PM-11:30 PM PST. CompUSA - we got there around 8:50 PM while it was raining and stood in line for a whopping 10 minutes. There were already over 350 people in line and once the doors opened everyone was very orderly. That's when the real fun begins. My primary mission was to buy the Linksys wireless router and FAR bluetooth headset, that's it. When we entered the store I made the mistake of turning left instead of right. Eventually I discovered the bluetooth headsets sold out in right after the doors opened, if only I had turned right instead of left. But I did score a Linksys wireless router for $19.99, soaked in the mayhem and chaos then made a beeline to the cashier. We were done and out of the store by 9:30 PM which is pretty impressive. Toys R Us - none Target - no one was waiting in line. They were all waiting in their warm dry cars and I don't blame them. Relax there were only 3 cars in the entire parking lot. LNT - none Circuit City - around 8 people Walmart 1 - around 4 people Walmart 2 - none Best Buy - The first person got in line at 2:30 PM and the others started arriving around 4:00PM. When I arrived at 11:20 PM there were over 100 people in line. If you're on the west coast and haven't left yet. It's pretty safe to assume your BB is already packed. Try Walmart then Circuit City. I think the lines will start filling up around 1AM and will go into full throttle between 2:30 AM - 3:00 AM.

I just saw it and you did a great job :) I'm sure you were pretty nervous. I taped it to our HD DVR, when I figure out how to extract video from it, I'll send you a copy.

Like I said most Plasma TV's start at 37", would you be ok with a 32" LCD? The smallest plasma offered this Black Friday is 42" The Westinghouse 32" LCD for $479 comes with a built in HD tuner and is the best deal.

If you can get in line soon Best Buy has a Toshiba laptop for $249. Have you left yet? There are already people lining up at Best Buy!

where is best deal toshiba notebook?
RossMAN replied to Tstowe's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Correct but the OP never stated a budget and the BB laptop isn't exactly a speed demon. Besides people are already lining up at BB waiting for the laptop and HDTV deals. -
I don't think it's dump per say. Some people don't mind rebates while others absolutely abhor them. However I agree with your decision and would have made the same decision :) Ordering online + free shipping + no rebates = sweet success

Unfortunately that TV is very popular and people will begin lining up around 8PM. I would say before 9PM. Bring a truck, van or big station wagon. The TV weighs around 150 lbs.
