    Bump.......
  4. 007 was $43 after the 20% off:tongue1:
  5. I don't recall that. I got 007 Vol 1 last year for about $46. Even f you don't wait, $38 is a great deal for this Star Trek set.
  6. I think it dependson how many idiots show up. The store doesn't matter:D .
  7. I have bought from them also. They are great! The free shipping is a little slow, but the $6 shipping is good. I use it when a buy a bunch of movies. I saw this last night and flipped. This is a PRE-ORDER. Ships on Nov 26th. This is a heck of a deal. I'm not a Star Trek nut(I prefer Star Wars:tongue1: ) but I do enjoy the movies. This is a great deal. If you wait about two weeks it can be a better deal. Register on their site to receive emails and I believe before Thanksgiving(I did this on Nov 16th last year), they will have a 20% off sale:eyepoppin . So either sign up or keep checking their site for the sale.

We did this at Sears one year. Got several over a few weeks. My wife won the 'Grand Prize' of a $500 gift card to use in any department. We bought a large Sony HDTV. Regular rice was $1800. They didn't have the model we originally wanted(a Panasonic) so they offered us a choice of any other for $1400. We bought it on a Saturday and they had a special, $100 off any TV before noon. Now it's down to $1300. Minus the $500 card = $800. Plus a few more cards at $20 each and we walked out paying less than $700 out of our pocket for an $1800 HDTV. That is a DEAL!
  9. Sears had theirs online. You might not get 'doorbusters', but I think you can find most. I think I got some DVDs last year and a few other things. Their shipping prices aren't the best though. Shipping is 'free' on some items, but only after rebate.

I have had some good deals around BF. At the NEX, each Fri or Sat night for several weeks(I can't remember before or after), they have had some late night specials. I got the Sony portable 8 in DVD player for $79 last year. It retails for almost $200. I got a 5MP Fuji camera for $89. So they have some good deals, just not on BF.

    Online or Stores

I love freezing all night and getting my stuff at 5 am. But I've been forced to shop online the last two years(only because of my location). I hope to get back on the streets next year.

I've never seen many 'had-to-have' at the BX/PX/NEXs. I hit them last. Lol.
  13. HD-DVD does have 1080P, but most models on the low price end are 1080i. Reading LOTS of forums and articles, most say you cannot tell the difference between 1080i and 1080P. It's like saying an HDMI cable is better than a DVi or component connections (but that is another debate). I have both and cannot really tell. My screen goes up to 1080i and they both look about the same. It's a matter of choice at this point. What makes someone choose one over the other....PRICE. HD-DVD players are going to be cheap this season. CC and Wal-mart have Toshibas for under $200 and now we find out Sears will have one for $170 on BF. Don't be suprised if Wally World comes up with a Toshiba cheaper than that, plus an 'off-brand' below $150. The cheapest Blu-Ray right now I believe is around $399. They might get a sub-$300 for BF, but who knows. Still it sounds like HD will have one at least half the price. I don't care who wins the war(I like both), but the price might kill Blu-ray.
  14. Yeah, I know. I've got the 60GB, but we have lots of 'old' games that aren't even played anymore. Plus, didn't really see anything worth grabbing. I did get some of the $8 deals last year. Besides, we have been playing some SNES lately. Even though we have a Wii too; we like to play classics sometimes.
  15. Too bad we've moved onto the PS3
  16. My son is working on Zelda; which he likes better than I thought he would.
  17. Naw, I got mine about the same time, just hadn't had the chance to post it.
  18. I got my free CDs!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I've also seen a site, I believe it was Nintendo's, that talks about certain routers not being compatible. It also depends on the type of security. Go to the site to see if your router is compatible: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/routers/en_na/routerIndex.jsp I've also heard that your security probably needs to be set to WEP, that is the only one that works with the Wii, from what I hear. So check your router and security settings. By the way, we love our Wii too. Lots of fun so far.
  20. Who REALLY knows? You need both (or access to,) to make a fair judgement. I have neither, but maybe one day.
  21. My Ultra-Lounge: CHRISTmas Cocktails and Kutless CDs say they have been shipped!!! Wow! I thought they would be cancelled. I've got a tracking number too.
  22. I like using it.
  23. No problems here!:)
