I have DSL. Last year I had 128k DSL and was still able to get on. Hmm...

The Samsung will let you watch blu-ray movies on it. But you will not be able to 'burn' information onto a blu-ray disc, only a regular dvd. Most of your cheaper laptops with blu-ray will only let you watch blu-rays, not burn to them.

They both are about the same. The Samsung will 'play' blu-ray movies. But you will probably have to buy software to 'make movies' on either one. Other than that the speed, size and graphics are about the same.

$8 dollar blu-rays are up. Not sure if it is really part of the advertised sale. Add to cart!

The good part for me is that it is morning for me. I got a full night of sleep and I'm ready to go.

I was looking at the Sony $399 laptop, but don't think I will upgrade this year. It's more of a 'downgrade' for me. The only thing I'd gain is wireless 'N'. My CPU in my laptop is currently (alot)faster and I paid the same price. But it is fun to look .

You can get the Wii with Wii Sports for $149 now (it's been this price for several months). The new $199 set includes the new motion plus controller and the new Wii Sports Resort. As mentioned, no deal. You can get this set for $169 on Dell if you watch for the right sale.

Looks like Amazon dropped the price on Back to the Future a little early. It is $34.49 right now, but will probably drop on Monday for the sale. I may bite now instead of trying to wait it out. Some of these deals have sold out quickly; Prince of Persia Blu-ray sold out in 15 mins. Hmmm...

The Back to the Future blu-ray will be on sale Monday the 29th of November. Watch for it .

Amazon has lowered the price on LOTS of blu-rays. Lord of the Rings series ($7.99 each), Terminator Salvation, Wizard of Oz, Hot Tub Time Machine, The Blind Side, The Hangover all $10 each. Watchmen, Gran Torino, Taken, Showgirls, The Wrestler, Wanted, Lonesome Dove all $7.99. There are too many to list. Plus there are several DCU animated movies (Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern) for about $10 each). These are not part of the Gold Box deals, just lower prices (probably for the next few days only ).

This thread has already been posted (I almost did it myself, lol).

It looks like there could be some nice deals on some blu-rays, but not as many as expected . Wish we could see all of the prices though.
