I don't really go for this type of store...I go for the BIG boys (Target, BestBuy, etc....) . But it is nice to see the first ad of the season .

I shop all year, lol.

I bought lots of blu-rays last year and hope to get some good deals again this year. Happy Birthday again .

I pre-ordered the Christmas Shoes on blu-ray for $7.50 from Walmart. I wish the movie could have been a little better, but it gets the point across (besides I need it to increase my Christmas blu-ray collection, lol).

I found an old CompUSA ad in my jacket pocket recently (I forgot the year, prob circa 2000). They had a 20GB hard drive for $329 or something like that. My wife and I had a good laugh. I've got some scans from gottadeal BF ads for the last 4 or 5 years (I keep them, lol). Always funny to compare.

Yeah, I got lucky recently as part of the Amazon/Onsale fiasco and finally got a 32GB HP Touchpad for $150. There is a Kindle app for it, so I am going to get that and see how I like it. I will wait for the next gen of Kindle Fire and hope they add 3G .

Got the blu-ray Emerald Edition (3 pack) from Target last year for $8.

The worst part of shopping online is getting your order cancelled (see my signature ). I get orders cancelled every year around BF(not all on BF). I've had four laptop orders cancelled over the last six years from BF sales. It's not because I don't have money, it's just they are OOS or THEY made a mistake on pricing. Just be careful and don't get too upset if you get cancelled, lol.

You should be able to start pre-ordering by the end of the day. $199 is looking pretty good. It's not an iPad, but it will have a lot of features and be able to stream vdeos through Amazon. The first version cis going to be 'lite' on features and they hope to add more next year or so w/ a newer version. Maybe Amazon will have a 'fire sale' on the old ones soon. Finally able to snag one from the OnSale.com/Amazon fiasco (apparently OnSale.com was able to get a bunch in for those who had their orders cancelled on Amazon). $149 for 32GB. Great deal.

Probably false considering you haven't given any information as to where they will be on sale for that price or your source of the rumor.

Sometimes that is done because a member of the family is in the military and is about to deploy and won't be home for Christmas. We have done that before (though not quite this early) because it was our only chance. It sucks to be away for the holidays so you do what you can to try to capture that moment with your family. Sometimes you have to look beyond the surface to see what the meaning is (though they could just be a little crazy and just love Christmas, lol).
