Yesterday they opened at 10am instead of 9:30am like last year because of fights and arguments. It was a madhouse yesterday.

In my email inbox, the mail titled "$25 shoe event" had the coupon for the $10 off $25. And today I got another email titled "Brighten up for Easter" and it has a $5 off $5 or more online only coupon.

I went there around 8am just in case, then managed to ask an employee as she was entering the place and she said opening time was 9:30. I didn't want to take a chance so just stayed in my car reading my nook. I was happy with all my buys except for ONE thing: I found a really nice musical nutcracker and I am quite sure I even payed for it but once I got home I could not find it. I don't have it. I really wonder what happened and it made me really upset but there is nothing I can do about it. Oh well, next time I'll keep a much closer eye on my items.

yeah, that's what I thought I heard some of you guys mention that. Sheesh! do I really want to be there at 7am?

Have they usually opened at their regular time of 10am or does it depend on the particular store if they are open earlier?

I got a flyer at Hallmark and the Black Friday sale they'll have will go from Nov. 23 to 25 and it is BOGO half off event. Not good on hallmark. com though.

I passed by my nearest Jcp this Saturday and you could almost hear a cricket in there. I wonder when they'll realize that this new plan is not working. I glanced at their prices and I was like, nope, that's too much. Who knows when I'll be back in there.

In Garland here and still 50% as well. Dollar spot said 50% but rang 70%.

Found the vaccuum at the Richardson Target. There were only about 4 left though. Good luck!

Oh yeah thanks for the reminder "atn1275". There are microwaves, kinda on the small side, great for dorm rooms or the like, that were $13 something, they went 75% off. There were also Dirt Devil vaccuums, also on the smallish side that were like $11 something.

I went to 3 different targets in my area (NE Dallas county) and still 50% but dollar spot 75% w/sign that said 50%.

Wow! I had no idea that people (at least on here) had a more casual Christmas dinner. I still have no idea what I'll make, but I need to make up my mind real quick here.

from your Thanksgiving dinner? Do you go w/turkey or ham or change it up but still keep it festive?

Brad, I am amazed at how early the ads are coming out. I remember in years past how legal department after legal department made sure you did not post the ads until, like, the last minute. But this year it's like boom-boom-boom one after the other. As far as the ads, I just like to look at them to see what deals there are but I am not looking for anything in particular. If I get some great deal, great, if not, that's fine too. As far as TRU opening at 10pm on Thursday, the first thing that came to my mind was how convenient that time will be for parents who have children under 12 years old. That way one parent stays w/the kids while the other goes to TRU. I figure perhaps there are many, many parents who have to work on Friday and that leaves one parent having to take the kids to do the shopping and I have seen many criticisms on here on people taking their children to BF. Which I definitely agree. It is too chaotic to take little ones. I will shop on BF because it is so fun the energy you feel around you. Driving at in the wee hours and seeing all these other cars w/people looking for great deals too. I love going to breakfast afterward, basking in the glow of my great deals. It is just plain fun for me.

The only thing I don't like about it is that like for me, I take a bag that can easily fit stuff in there that would take the place of 3 plastic bags and yet I only get credit for one bag. Oh well, that won't stop me from taking in my reusable bags.
