  1. After going to 3 different Targets I finally found 2!! Boy was I happy. Then the moment of truth- at the cash register. The two coupons for the $3 off went through fine but the b1g1f did not. The guy called someone and then did something or other and I got my two mega packs for a total of about $4. I think I'm just going to have to go to as many different targets as I can. This deal is great!!
  2. Yeah, that is the one I'm refering to since that is the one I got from this board. On that site there are fields that are labeled "ASIN" or "DCPI"; that is where you put in the numbers.
  3. I followed "lovetoshopCA's"advice and what I did was I went to the amazon website. I just did a general search and input spiderman bikes. I clicked on the one I think you guys are talking about and when I did there is a number that is called ASIN so I just copied and pasted that to the website where you check if your target carries it. Good luck. Hope it works for ya'll.
  4. Thank you so much for the tips. I will try them out. Happy shopping in June!!!
  5. Can anyone enlighten me as to what I am doing wrong when I put in the dcpi into that website that rhymes w/mallet. I put in the zip code and then I put in the numbers in the dcpi field and it comes back w/an error message of "could not recognize the DCPI value" followed by how I entered the numbers. Thanks for any help.
  6. Yeah, the dollar spot is 75% off. I bought quite a bit of socks for my 6yo girl. And they have the dinosaur stuff there too, and some of the garden stuff, and some barbie writing pads and such. I can't remember what else but the socks was a GREAT deal. Some star wars action figures went 75%off to $2.48 they are like in a cylinder package. I used some coupons for groceries, you can check my post in the grocery coupon forum. :)
  7. Thank you soooo much for the link. Ready to use at Target Really appreciate it. Nelly
  8. Can anyone help me make this deal better? Or is this the best that I can do? Ok, it's kinda long so I hope you can still help. I am getting these prices from the Target circular that came out this last Sunday (5/20). Ok here it goes: Bounty paper: $10 minus $1.50 (from target coupon generator) equals $8.50 minus $.025 (from sunday newspaper) equals $8.25 I would do this twice so that would be a total of $16.50 minus $5.00 (from the target cpn where you buy $20 and get $5.00 off) equals $11.50 AND I get a $5 GC for purchasing these two items. BTW, does anyone have the link to those coupons of the buy $20 and get $5 off? I only printed one. Next: Tide $16.49 minus $ .50 (from sunday newspaper) equals $15.99 I would do this twice so total of $31.98 minus $5 (from the target cpn where you buy $20 and get $5.00 off) AND I get a $5 GC because I bought 2 items Next: Charmin $10.00 minus $ .25 (from sunday newspaper) equals $9.75 I would this twice for total of $19.50 minus $ 5.00 (from the target cpn where you buy $20 and get $5.00 off) equals $14.50 AND I get a $5 GC because I bought 2 items Next: Pampers $17.49 plus maybe like $2.50 for the wipes equals $19.99 minus $3.00 (cpn that someone posted already or from sunday paper but must buy diaper and wipes) equals $16.99 Do this twice for a total of $33.98 minus $5.00 (from the target cpn where you buy $20 and get $5.00 off) Equals $28.98 AND I get a $5 GC because I bought 2 items Somehow I think I could do better but I don't know how. Hope someone can enlighten me. Thank you so, so, so much. I know I posted this in another thread. I hope I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm just trying to maximize the number of people who might view and therefore hopefully get some help.
  9. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this. Looking at my receipt the numbers to the left of the ATM machine say 087020231, Ihope that is the DCPI. Also, just an FYI if you don't mind (and believe me I wish I had figured this out sooner), if you would like to quote someone's post, you look at their post and on the bottom right is a button that says "QUOTE". You click on that and the quote will appear towards the top and then you can write whatever you want after that. You can also delete whatever you don't need from that person's quote (post), it's ok too. Nelly :)
  10. Found pjs for my boys at 75% off-$3. something. I was so lucky to be there when one of the associates was marking down the toys that are on clearance. So found the ATM machine for $4.98 (75%off). I also found the kites for 75%off like the previous poster. These kites were for $1.48 other, fancier kites were for $2. something. There were quite a bit of toys 75% off. Also, found some pillow cases wrapped up w/some clear plastic and had a little piece of paper that said something to the effect "need dcpi " or something like that. So when I went to pay I asked the cashier how much it was, it took them FOREVER to give me a price. I wasn't upset about it though, my twin boys were patient and not crying. So when they came back w/the price of $7.99 I told them no thanks, that was too much for me. One of the managers or higher up than the cashier, was going to give me an extra 10% off but that was only $.80. So I said no thanks. A minute later or so she came back and gave me a certificate for $3 off whatever I want for being patient and waiting and the inconvinience. So moral of the story: be nice, pick it up even if it doesn't have a price, be patient, and who knows you might get rewarded in one way or another. :)
  11. Sorry, I don't have anything tangible to offer. But I KNOW how hard 2 months is w/twins-I have twin boys. What helped me a lot and I do mean a lot was that my pediatrician's nurse was very nice w/us and called the Good Start rep (the rep that drops off samples of formula). She told the rep that we had twins and could she send us some samples. Twice we got a shipment of formula, both the ready to eat and the powder formula and the sterilized nipples. Each shipment was probably worth $300 to $400 in my estimation. So hopefully your pediatrician's nurse might do the same for you. Good luck. My boys are now 2 years old. Soooooo much better. Nelly
  12. Saw watches going on clearance again. Right now only 30%off. One store had more of a selection than another I went to. Still candy out there on clearance; but the chocolate kind are mainly dark chocolate.
  13. THanks childofsolitude!! I always look forward to your posts since you have the inside scoop . thanks again.
  14. Thanks for posting this. REally good deals. Got two beach towels and two pjs. ONly wish they would tell you which items get the $5 off deal. Oh well. :)
  15. There are great deals on shoes. Bought my 6yo dd two pairs of dress shoes-one is all gray sparkle for like $3.?? and the other was more subdued sparkles and the shoes were pink w/strap going across the top of the foot those were like $2.?? But they had lots of other shoes and not just for children. Also noticed that some toys had been dropped to 50% off. Too many, however, (sorry) to name. Although to tell you the truth, I can't really remember names and all that. :)
  16. I've seen the watches by where the purses are at. Hope that helps and it's the same at your target. :)
  17. Yeah, everyone can get their credit report for free from each bureau. But if someone wants to know their FICO score, they have to pay for that. :)
  18. Just wanted to let anyone know that I saw lingerie (bras, panties) on clearance. Also saw ladies socks, tights, and pantyhose on clearance-some even75% off. :)
  19. I just wanted to post what I do for my ds and dd birthdays, Just to give you an idea. Well, this is the reason behind my party favors: the thing is, I don't like to see the other children drool over the birthday person's gifts. Besides, they are small children, they too would like to get something. So what I've done is make up some type of game (for ex. put a little piece of paper w/a number on it and stick it inside the balloon and have a whole bunch of balloons and have them grab a balloon and pop it by sitting on it. If they get a number then they get a price.) So I'll get a toy from the dollar spot either at Target or at Walmart or the Dollar Store. The kids have fun w/a game where they get a price (the b-d child does too) and they don't feel left out when it is time to open gifts. They go home happy because they got a gift too. And they don't care that it was from the Dollar Store or the other places, believe me, they are happy w/their prize. Nelly:)
  20. Can you tell me, Childofsolitude if "Monk" is one of the dvd sets going on sale? Thanks for any info. Looking to get it for my dh's b-d in Feb. :)
  21. "The standard clearance at Target works by items being marked down 15% or 30% initially. This price can last somewhere between two weeks to a month, depending on how well the item sells at this price. Then the item typically drops to 50%, again for two weeks to a month. Generally, the lowest an item will be marked down is 75% off, with a few exceptions. Items considered 'holiday' or 'seasonal' items have been known to go as low as 90% after the holiday, and you will find a few occasional display items or things found in the stockroom after inventory marked 80%-90% off. Almost always, the lowest price an item will go will usually end in $.x4 or $.x8, but not always." That's what Gator Pam wrote on the very first post of this thread. She also gives more insights into clearances and other things at Target. I think it's great that you have your dh into this too. Wish mine was as well. Oh well, it's still fun!
  22. Thanks for letting us know. I hope I get that coupon in my Sun. newspaper this weekend. :)
  23. I saw those lamps (I think they are the ones everyone is talking about) at an end cap where they have the furniture. My target also had a whole bunch of them.
  24. SCOOOOOOORE!!!!!!! :jump3: Ok, I'm just so excited about the deal I got this morning. At one end cap in the area of the picture frames and kitchen items there was a 30% off sign. Different things were on there including about 10-14 or so packs of cloth-like, folded, red, Rubbermaid, large ornament boxes. The picture in the front of the package clearly had xmas ornaments to show how you can organize the balls inside the box. The red sticker was $11.99 but now at $8.38. I scanned it and it scanned at $8.38. I still took it w/me to the register. I happen to get in a register w/a friendly cashier. When this cashier rang up the box and it rang up $8.38, I asked if it by chance was 90% off since it was a xmas ornament box. This cashier agreed and brought down to 90% off. I was paying less than a dollar for this great looking box !!! :cheesy: So after I paid for my stuff, I asked this cashier if I could leave my things there so that I could get a couple more of those boxes. So I bought three more. And you know how much I paid for those extra three total?? I paid $2.52 (excluding tax)!! I got each box for $.84 :lolrun: I just had to share ya'll. I was so excited and still am excited about this deal.
