  1. Sort of, You lose a portion of the coupon. Macy's receipt shows the $20 off coupon divided amongst all items so say you bought 10 things they'd each had a $2 discount. So say an item was on sale for $10, they show a $2 discount with it and they'd return you $8 for item. So you only really got $18 off total for using coupon once return taken into account. For BB my rewards was $5 but I bought 4 things and had to return 3 since the ppl they were for had already bought so I only got to use 1.25 of my rewards certificate and lost the rest of it. Lesson learned, use certificates for myself and avoid the issue in future.
  2. and it's within a specified time frame. When I got some due to online purchase last year I had to send mother to go use it while I was in Disney for my bday. My bf got some at a grand opening a few months back and forgot to use them. It wasn't a biggie since we were happy with the price paid but for people who bump purchases to get more it could be a waste. The old navy ones really suck because you have to spend double the discount amount to use.
  3. RECON has begun:)
  4. YAY!!!!! Let the searching begin :)
  5. they'll be gone way before then too
  6. LOL....."By 10 a.m. Friday, I'm afraid the stores are going to be empty,", statement of the century to us but maybe not normal folk, eh?
  7. I use strictly plastic for everything and have no problems with rebates other than them being a pain. We've never forgotten to send one in and ALWAYS keep copies(scans) of everything submitted in case we don't hear back. I can see how it would be a bigger pain if you ONLY use cash and/or are one of those people the companies love who forget to submit them or follow directions. I DO dislike some newspapers, Walgreens and a local pharmacy come to mind, that give you item price after coupons. It's nice of them to point out that a coupon IS available but their reduced price is rarely worth using the coupon:P WORSE than rebates to me is how EVERY store seems to be itemizing $off coupons so that if you return something you get screwed. I've always noticed at Macy's but BB did it to me this week on a rewards zone thing too. I was not amused.
  8. I just tested it and the promo code for let's rock elmo seems to work so they all should. Not sure if the codes are clear on pdf on site, feel free to PM for any you might need. I may just type them out on here after lunch.
  9. You what? Even our Brandsmart doesn't have space/registers for that many.
  10. Page by page eh? We'll be there til tomorrow afternoon
  11. Couldn't have been said better :) BF sales are not the be all end all AND they are not guaranteed to be lowest price ever even for that store. I was looking over the JCPenney preview and some of the stuff is listed at those prices now.
  12. the way it's worded is correct, stop trying to find errors
  13. It's always nice to win..it's nicer if it gets another gift out of the way, and ESPECIALLY great if it's something you may not have been looking to spend money on but wanted or wouldn't have been able to get because it was too expensive.
  14. it was posted on site..there's so many $100(i think) gc then something else then some number of people win all 32 things.
  15. I finally settled on a dress shirt for brother, a jacket for me(new job?) and a business casual top. If only it was here yesterday I would be able to wear it for my interview which should be sometime next week. Time to go see what fits from closet And THEN I followed recommended links. I managed to get 2 full sets for under $40(probably) so I'll post in case anyone else can take advantage. If you do separate orders adding a filler as necessary you'll get bigger discounts. I chose ship to store(free) to avoid shipping charges too :) http://zoom.jcpenney.com/is/image/0900631b81ccafcaM.tif?wid=180&hei=180&op_usm=1.5,.8,0,0&resmode=sharp jacket is $13.60 camel and indigo sateen available http://zoom.jcpenney.com/is/image/0900631b81d008a1M.tif?wid=180&hei=180&op_usm=1.5,.8,0,0&resmode=sharp skirt is $17.60 http://zoom.jcpenney.com/is/image/0900631b81ccafe0M.tif?wid=180&hei=180&op_usm=1.5,.8,0,0&resmode=sharp skirt is $8.80
  16. My apologies I was in a different country that year Thanks for the replies. Update: looking at posts from 2005 it looks like they chose a designated door before BF, so this is something to keep in mind. I couldn't get a working scan to verify if it mentioned purchase like this years does.
  17. I like their ornament too but think the closest store is hours away and probably won't be high on my list of places to go if at all.
  18. my memories from last year is marred by having to call around multiple Walmart's then drive to the few who didn't answer to exchange the non netflix player for the other model. I ended up paying a little more but getting it through Walmart.com since I had originally placed order online and THEIR description was wrong. While we were driving to Walmarts around town we saw SO many accident waiting to happen. It was already dark so maybe 7/8 pm but people were still taking red light 4-5 cars after the light had changed etc, this town is ridiculous.
  19. I haven't tried this but I'm guessing maybe not all stores(maybe none) have the binding equipment to allow for it?
  20. just follow the directions in 1st post when another one comes up.

  22. this makes so much sense deals are for Friday night and Saturday morning and I believe the Fri night ones may start at 3. I'm stuck in some limbo thinking today is Saturday. I was looking at the BB 2 day sale thinking how odd they only sent email today(sat) when it started yesterday. Of course it made sense the laptop was still on sale a day after sale started if it hadn't been advertised.
  23. No problem, we all appreciate the work you put into this. Thank You!
  24. I love how the say screw the little guy if we make more money, he should have just kept his mouth shut If their sales were as great as they could be they wouldn't have to worry about opening at the same time AND people would wait up for them. The more I think of it the more I'm liking being done by 4-5 instead of being out by then, not sure how it'll happen with all my online shopping but we'll see.
