This season: $250+ in google checkout/$500+ in MIR's. ...and having to cut, copy/scan, fill out, lick & stamp! I don't like Tiger Directs' system of having to fill out info on-line BEFORE being able to receive the form. We'll see how Buy.com does on 8-12 week timeline for turnaround. BUT, I did like Circuit City two nights ago where $50 off SODIM didn't print out the rebate at the checkout line, so they honored their sales flyer by taking the rebate off the cost there right at the store.

Well, I thought I'd give it a try, they didnt have the pj's I wanted (no sizes available to select from at all, then the socks at 3.99 looked like a good deal, so went thru the rigamarole of checkout as usual and they wanted 8.99 s&h for a 3.99 item!!!! Backed out of that reaaal quick. Guess I just didnt find anything myself, Thanx though!!!!

Wow, 25+ transactions now. Someone's quote aluding to 'Buyer Beware pretty much hits it. EVERYTHING has been timely delivery! I did the math last nite: 25 (plus some more today), at either 10/30 or 20/50=$420 saved, (plus another $465 in rebates). I imagine as the days closer come, they'll be more complaints. And yes, I used at all the below stores without any complaints (so far): Linens 'n Things, Buy.com, Soho Lighting, Jockey.com, Elegant Stitches ..., Netshops, Inc, eBags, Inc, Bestprices.com, Aeropostale, Inc, NuttyBug Internat..., Eforcity Corporation, Dick's Sporting G..., The Timberland Co..., & Backcountry.com. Y'know my sales history was reaal easy to get, another feature of G_C_!!!!! ('Kickin points in your post peptide).

I say again....:) Yes some items are available at store only, some available for delivery-my guess it is by proximity to supply center? Suggest you either: 1)Select the store near you & check for shipping; or 2)Enter your 'zip to estimate ship cost. Also note the bold letters on the promo page states free ship for all. My store is a good hour away so this helped alot.

"ELF" 20% off & 0.99 ship. HEY the http for Rayovac? I couldn't get it to print when clicking on the lower right "Click here to Print Offer" - a little hand holding here please? Even tried save as.... for a download but the file size is only only 1kb, meaning no data contained for the form! A quick glance at the site: 1. Car Battery-Optima Yellow Top D51. (ask a gear head if they want this if the price is right). At $149 it's ok. I'd check AdvAu_ or Au_Z_. Less than a year ago I paid alot less via an employee, but it seems about right, expecially after the 20% off? yep, change one-good deal. But, wouldn't you know it-out of stock status. 2. NiMH battery Prices,. Uh, very steep for me, even the name brands. (Starting to think that they're jacking the cost to cover the 20% discount). 3. Optima Battery Cover. HEY! what's going on here, they're posting two items out of stock/discontinued now.... ok one more looksie... 4. Tool Batteries. Black & Decker-none. Well nothing here for me. Summary. Hope this :15min research helps someone out: Fairly good deal on one item with the 20% off-but out of stock; a nice add on item, regardless of the 20%-but discontinued; a lousy price-regardless of the 20%; and finally, NO deal/price on my particular (major) brand tool battery! Man oh man, I'm gonna hate looking at my credit card bill come Jan, with all the G_C_. I really like their ability to track on line the purchases made, and their status columns of being shipped. I've pretty much had G_C_ dictate what I purchased this year. 1) $50=40% savings, c'mon, no brainer!, & 2) If there's no free ship-I no buy (well-that's because I'm 85% done with purchases already at the tune of probably over $400 G_C_ savings). Threeeeee daysss left (at the most for the free ship though.... The deals end ????. For me it IS tough to purchase when the G_C_ http doesn't show up on some items. Back in Aug, some stores were honoring the 20/50, now their only offering the 10/30, and yep, some stopped altogether - and those stores I've revisted even up to last nite, with no purchase from them since they hadn't reposted the offer. Oh, and G_C_ stopped connecting last nite & again this morning for a $50 purchase I attempted. NOT to start rumours, but remember when TRU stopped being able to process web orders in the height of their holiday season a couple years back? As a result they now rely on Amazon for the web-business. I HOPE, this hasn't happened to G_C_ !!!

OK, the only thing I can relate to is M's comment on tamper free tape. Yes there are experiences with high dollar-small size items stopped from being stocked overseas because of shipping theft. I missed out on alot of Bose equipment because of that back in the eighties though. Maybee its time to look at the shipping handler for a theft claim. Three days free ship left!!! And to mimic above post, their shipping has been very fast. Did notice that some items are from west coast (CA), and some from East (PA).

I'll probably post this again on a separate thread, but G_C_ started crashing last nite, couldn't get my order through this morning too. (Is this in the makings repeat of the TRU fiasco a couple years back, where they then switched to Amazon to handle their web orders???) +ok, several hours later, G_C_ just wasn't working from my neighbor's system. Randie, most all of the rebatable memory are going to run out either the 15th or at the end of the month. What I did was check all memory deals and then refuse to pay over $15 for 2gb cards. With that stipulation, this is what you've got (most at Buy.com, New Egg, and Tiger Direct). SD (San Disk) Kensington Ultra ACP-EP I hadn''t found rebates yet for Simple Tech or Lexar. Keep in mind, -Free ship runs out reaaal soon. -Most all have a rebate to submit BUT download and read the rebate form!-some say max of two per sku#, some say max of one (which in that case I'd buy one of each sku#) i.e.: I've two purchased from SD, (01) 2gb & (01) 1gb-rebateable on the same form since their limit was one per sku#. -I use Google Checkout as well. My reasoning, behind buying ALL of the above brands was we go on a yearly treck throughout a certain region of the U.S. And although I bring an external harddrive to store miscelaneous, most of the time we are not going to rely on a USB jack/hotel room/camping site to have the ability for us to download our pic's/movies. Oh and yes everything gets to be high res on the pics too! Oh, another thing, when I download the rebate form I fill it out immediately, stamp and all; staple it to my initial on-line invoice to remind me; and I search the form to see what else they've posted as rebatable, then usually surf for the best deal on what else they may have listed (note some rebate forms are for only certain stores though). 04 Digi cams, and no memory bought in a brick/mortar store (I ran past the 1gb cards by mistake on bf at cc to get the laptop & tower for 198 & 99). Their site is kicking mega butt, well, hold on there, check that. I'm AM sorry for your difficulties, but reading posts saying ... I dont think..... Congrats, your goal has been met. Now get on with it.... I everyday (just about) have purchased from buy.com. and with no shipping (cripes that's gonna run out in the next day or two), meaning 7-9 days I've received everything, to the tune of serious 'dinero, spent, saved, and rebated. You folks sitting on the wire, we all hope it is an isolated incident, but they're still getting my business.

cotejb, the game has been out for at least since Aug05 when we bought it. But you bring up a good point, I assume it is a newer PS2 version, with new songs, images etc.... Maybeeeeee thats where the confusion is? In a nutshell, disc in the game platform, monitor to mimic the moves (left foot in, left foot out, left foot in and you....), and a mat about 3'x3' to stand/dance on. Gets progressively harder i.e. faster beat, more rapid progression of step combinations, and as you master, you receive more songs & images. Has kept both of ours busy and exercised as well as the week end get togethers, both boys and girls. UPDATE (03) days after original post. Yes, you most definitely should be able to return. Although it was a "bundle", each item was 'rung up separately. So you're entitled, although, you may want to pass the "savings" onto someone you know?

I have stayed away from dell for seven years once they migrated all their support out of the US. And mention it every time a commercial comes on-which usually promotes comments by folks within earshot that not only are they boycotting because of the same issues, but usually have a horror story of their own. Sorry about your luck and with cutthroat deals, they still won't get my business. Just my $.02.

Cyber Sunday at this house. Shopping Cart parked with what we want, and (hopefully) 'eight and out the gate..... OK order done. Am feeling the time crunch with, believe it or not, some of the hot items this year are already on 30day backorder from four sites we've perused the past couple of days!!!!! 0820. I tried the "different orders will give different discounts" mentality. WPHUGE was what I ended up with 30% off Reg/10% off Sale. Others include: sleigh; chimney; Friend44; Reindeer; & Stocking. BUT, with what we wanted, none applied to one item at $129 and WP.... gave us more off than "sleigh". Shame on you jcp for not letting me stack codes!

Hmm, brief :10min look - prices are approx $40 higher than most that I'm seeing this time of year for a 20" lcd tv. If that doesn't grab me, I'm kinda out of time to look for a $101 buy to save the $20.
