Decent (but basic) 35mm camera?
Brad replied to outnumbered's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Depending on what model digital camera you have you might not want to bother with a regular camera. A good way to find a nice one is to look for the 4+ star reviews at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/new-for-you/top-sellers/-/photo/172441 Then when you find one, post here and we'll see if we can find a deal better than Amazon on that model. -

Dell's next fiscal quarter ends in just about a month, so maybe they'll bring back the huge deals next month.
-
yep. the pc and lcd shipped about 2 days after i ordered it and the lcd tv and printer shipped 2 days after that.
-
I'd say go with Dell. I just configured an 8400 with the stuff you want and it came out to around $1500 before any coupons. And that was with a 160GB SATA HD and a 3.2GHz CPU. I don't think there are any great coupons out right now, but if they can wait until next week, you should be able to get 2 of these for around $2500 shipped if you're lucky.

That was the Dellf coupon where you could get the W1700 LCD TV for $1 with any Dimension over $699. So I combined that with a special "holiday" bundle (the loaded 3000 with free speakers and printer) which was around $999 or so IIRC and included the regular 17" LCD. Then I was able to stack a 20% off Dimension Dellf coupon on top of it all which brought the final cost to around $800 with free shipping. There is a big thread somewhere on FW about it. They quickly pulled the deal a few hours after people realized it was possible.

Another reason for the bigger link is that a lot of people were coming to the site right to the forum and perhaps didn't even realize that we have an actual site in addition to the forum, so hopefully those people see the link and click it to see where it takes them :)
-
And if people don't want them cluttering the forum, they shouldn't reply Seriously, usually if it's just one thread I'll either close or delete it, but there were like 10 of them this morning so I just never got around to doing anything with them other than editing them and banning the person responsible.

as part of the color scheme change (to go along with a minor color change on the main site), we have added a much more prominent link to the main site in the upper right corner of the forum pages.
-
OK, I modified the forum source code to no longer display the PM pop-up. Instead there is a checkbox when you go to write a new PM. By default, the checkbox is checked, so if you don't uncheck it you will be requesting a receipt, just that the popup won't appear.

That's where vBulletin puts it. You should have both the main site and forum bookmarked anyway I'll see about adding it somewhere near the top of the page as well.

Brad replied to Pacheeka's topic in Online Hot Deals
I'd personally stay away. The fact that they basically stole Overstock.com's Holiday graphic (look at the "4 weekends left" part, lol) and just edited it a little to make it seem like their own tells you what kind of business they are running...
