  1. Some options: http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=5T040H4-N&cat=HDD http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=711006-017 http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?DEPA=0&description=22-140-133 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=22-152-008 http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=101284 At this price, you'll be fine with any of these, so you might just want to pick the cheapest.
  2. Might be a good time to pick up the new compact 802.11g router: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0007MGG2M Just need to find $33 in other Linksys items.
  3. It could, but given the fact that the majority of our visitors probably wouldn't change it, we are still looking for the right "default" number.
  4. Directron might be a little cheaper depending on the shipping charges to your location: http://www.directron.com/cavt03uwa.html They were a few bucks cheaper for me when I compared the two.
  5. This $10 rebate is still valid through 3/15: http://images.pricegrabber.com/rebates/23936-595.pdf Worth a shot
  6. It all depends on which model you are looking at. Newegg has deals mostly because they carry almost everything. But you can find deals elsewhere. Buy.com and Amazon have nice prices on Antec cases. ZipZoomFly and Directron also occasionally have deals.
  7. Also, in case anyone is interested, there is an optional MP3 "companion" that you can slide the flash drive into and turn it into an MP3 player: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=90136155
  8. i went to 2 different radio shacks - both had plenty of them.
  9. i'm going to a RS in a few minutes. hopefully their in-stock status is true.
  10. Just an update... work continues on the new site. Here is a sneak preview: http://www.gottadeal.com/images/sneak.gif LOL. We can't give everything away just yet. A question for everyone: We currently have the last 50 deals on the front page of the site. What are your thoughts about that number? Should it be raised, lowered, stay the same? Should we go by time instead of number and have all the deals posted in the last X number of days/hours? Having less deals means the page will load faster, but (obviously) there will be less deals to browse on the page. We will be having "next page" links on all deal pages, so once you get to the bottom of the page, there will be a link to go to the previous batch of deals, all the way back to the beginning of the site. Thoughts???
  11. According to Pricegrabber, that additional $10 rebate is supposed to be only from purchases from DataVision.com. Although it doesn't mention that on the rebate form. Of course it doesn't hurt to try as the RadioShack rebate only needs a copy of the UPC. You can send the original one for the $10 rebate. Because we don't know for sure if it is valid I didn't include that $10 in the post on the main page. We don't want people blaming us if the rebate doesn't go through :)
  12. The rebate does require you to activate the regular TiVo service at $12.95 per month, at least until they process the rebate, so there is some added cost in doing that. Plus the possibility that you'll become addicted to the "Plus" level of service and won't want to go back to the free "Basic" service :) The rebate says it is valid for new or "certified factory renewed". The one at OS is "factory reconditioned", so I'd guess that it is the same and you will get the rebate. More rebate info at: http://www.tivorebates.com
  13. The price keeps dropping on this. $198 for a DVD player and TiVo Series2 DVR with free TiVo Basic service - can't beat that :)

  17. This thing is very small - I think I read that it is about the size of an iPod (but square): http://images10.newegg.com/productimage/33-124-047-02.JPG
  18. Maybe take a look at this model on sale at OfficeMax starting today: http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/product/prodBlock.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&expansionOID=-536879593&prodBlockOID=537148119 http://omximages.officemax.com/images/kreb_large/777720615185B.GIF
  19. the first one from outpost i posted was 200gb - that was the one everyone said was a great deal: http://shop3.outpost.com/product/4008252
  20. 50' for $12.99 w/ free shipping: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10030870 otherwise like ross said, local stores would be best
  21. I just bought a 32MB USB 2.0 drive at Target yesterday for $8.00. Small capacity, but it is extremely tiny with a cool swivel cap. No rebate hassle either. It was one of these: http://www.imation.com/products/flash_devices/usb_swivel_drive.html Works good for most small stuff, but I'd still like something bigger.
  22. Yeah I saw that thread on AT. I thought you needed something sooner. I might try for that one as well.
  23. Yes, they change stuff alot. As does Amazon. That's why it is so hard to keep deals updated on the main site. People complain when a deal posted 3 days ago has a higher price, but the retailer probably changed the price 8 times during that time, lol.
  24. That bundle is $10 more today, but you get free shipping now, so it's actually around $10 cheaper than yesterday. New customers can save $15 more with a coupon. Deal: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=6670
  25. that's a nice deal. it was $189 shipped with no rebates in december. how much is shipping on it now?
