  1. they are all pretty much the same. none of the zen micros have color displays. i'd imagine the 20gb will have slightly less battery life. the 5gb version comes with "free" accessories. i got an extra battery with mine, but i don't know if they are still including those or not.
  2. Creative is making so many versions of the Micro - 4GB, 5GB, 6GB, and an upcoming slightly-bigger 20GB. I like that they (for now) are keeping the greyscale display. Unlike some I have no desire for a color screen on something like this. No need to view photos on a 1.5" screen. Color just makes the price go up and battery life go down. http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=213&subcategory=214&product=10795
  3. 20 hour battery life is good - more than most 5gb players out there. the price is good as well. i'd still recommend the zen micro.
  4. There is still a $35 coupon if you want to order - it would be $527 shipped.
  5. More great LCD monitor deals from Dell. All 3 are very good choices.
  6. The 2 coupons are stackable :) Full details: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=7144
  7. CircuitCity.com also has them in-stock for $249: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=120218
  8. None right now, however we just got an e-mail from Dell and there is a $60 off $500 Electronics & Accessories coupon starting tomorrow at 8am CT. During a previous deal, a $-off was stackable with a %-off coupon, so you may get lucky tomorrow and get it for $501 shipped. If you can wait 14 hours, I'd wait and you might get lucky. Dell coupons: http://www.gottadeal.com/dell.php
  9. Dell Home for $561.75 shipped after 25% coupon code ZLXBLQZZPZLXM$ You can also get refurbs through Dell Outlet for $548.00 (don't know why you'd do that when a new one is $13 more)
  10. If you need games, you can also combine the discount with the free digital coupon offer: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=7067 Buy the PSP for $249.99 and at least $150.01 in games and you will get $40 off instantly, plus a $30 digital coupon (gift certificate) will be e-mailed to you after your order ships. This article says Sony has no plans to lower the price before 2006.
  11. Amazon doesn't have them in stock anymore (at least not the white versions). They come with a "Trio of soft silicone earbuds fit a wide range of ears" so you should be set with one of the three sizes I'd think.
  12. Sounds like these would have been a perfect fit for you. It's really too bad you missed out. I actually posted a deal here on the forum for them over a week ago when they were even cheaper - around $25 shipped. I really don't know of any other model of clip-on headphone/radio like this. You could always wait and keep checking to see if they get more in stock (people might have ordered and then cancelled). Otherwise you'll need to go to a regular pocket radio, something like one of these: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00008W7LS http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006JQ06 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000066R6M
  13. Welcome to the forum Mike. This item was in stock when I posted the deal this morning - you must have just missed it As for another radio, do you have a price range? If you are willing to spend $30-40, I'd look at the Sangean line of pocket radios. I believe Amazon.com carries a few of them. If you want something cheaper, let me know and I'll see if I can find something. But like you said, you get what you pay for. I think I saw a Panasonic model at Amazon for $9.99 a week or so ago that got good customer reviews.
  14. http://reviews.cnet.com/Linksys_WMLS11B/4505-6739_7-30671312.html I think the general feeling is that it is an average device. Although the price has dropped significantly since it first came out. If you want something better, look into the Roku Soundbridge. I was able to pick one up (M1000 model) at Best Buy for $149 a few months ago, but it's still sitting in the box cause I haven't had time to play with it yet. http://www.rokulabs.com/products/soundbridge/index.php
  15. If you want/need the remote, then get this one. If you are going to build a Windows MCE 2005 machine, then get the other one and then get a dedicated MCE remote (around $30).
  16. There are some pics of it in a HT setting on Amazon, like this one:http://g-images.amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/ff/41/4df5a2c008a03052bb5bff00.L.jpg
  17. nope. i'll take some and post them later this week.
  18. That's what I have in my HTPC-in-progress. 2 of those and an Fusion HDTV low profile HD tuner in an Antec Minuet case.
  19. 2 of these: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00064GI2O
  20. From the site: The MCE versions do not come with a remote control or an MPEG video decoder. If you are building Media Center systems, please check with Microsoft for their latest list of compatible remote control and MPEG decoders. But you can still use the MCE versions with Myth, Beyond, Sage, etc...
  21. If you have a Target nearby, check them out. A few weeks ago I saw Imation 32MB drives for $8.00.
