  1. http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10390747 Lots of retractable cables in this kit. Nice for travelers.
  2. By the price he gave in the coupon equation, I'm guessing the Elura 90.
  3. The first (and better) way is the way it's done. %-off coupons first, then the $-off is taken off the rest. Looks like you got yourself a deal. Now just wait until 8am CT tomorrow :)
  4. Next 25% off coupon comes tomorrow, along with some stackable $-off coupons: http://dell.gottadeal.com
  5. If you are going to use this in a MCE machine, you'll probably want a regular MCE remote, so the added remote with this model compared to the OEM isn't really an issue.
  6. Just a reminder that you have until Thursday to vote for your selected charities :)
  7. I agree with that recommendation. If you want something cheaper, look at the iP3000 which you should be able to get $15-20 cheaper. The iP4000 is still the better deal.
  8. I believe so, but don't quote me on that. It might not apply to their new Pre-N wireless stuff, and maybe some other exclusions. But it doesn't hurt to try if you see something.
  9. I talked about it a little in this thread. But basically this coupon limits you to those configurations on that page. In most cases you can't upgrade things like the processor, hard drive size, etc... With the "real" coupon, it's good on pretty much any configuration. So if you want a CPU faster than 1.6GHz, you can get it. If you want a bigger hard drive, you can get it. You just have more options when configuring them. Of course if one of the selected configs for this deal has exactly what you want for over $1499, then it's just as good. But most people want to configure it exactly how they want it.

  11. Coupon code: 12345 Check http://gottadeal.pricegrabber.com to make sure the deal is really a deal (Belkin's MSRPs are very high)
  12. It's not that this deal "sucks" (half off a laptop is still a hot deal) but that Dell has had so many deals, including several of these $750-off-$1499 (on selected configs) in the past few weeks/months that anyone who wants a laptop has either already ordered one, or are going to wait until the "real" $750 off $1499 next month (hopefully). 11,000 uses is still a lot to go through...
  13. Dell usually gives plenty of notice when they do those, so there should be no problem finding out about them.
  14. In most cases, yes, it's a better coupon. However in most of those configurations with the $750 off $1499, you can't upgrade things like the processor, hard drive, etc... so if you want a laptop with a 2GHz Centrino, you can't get it with that coupon. However with the $750 off $1899 coupon you can.
  15. Yes, that coupon is still valid, but it is only good on these models. The new coupons can be used on pretty much any configuration.
  16. These current coupons aren't that bad. It's basically a $150 difference between the $600 off $1499 and the "holy grail" $750 off $1499. Another factor to consider is any free upgrades and/or rebates that are offered. They could offer enough free upgrades with the $600 coupon to make it just as good of a deal as the $750. You just have to keep watching and configuring systems for each new round of coupons. When I got my 700m, it was just before the $750 off $1499 coupon came out last October. I "only" used a $500 off $1499, but there was a $200 mail-in rebate and free HD and WiFi upgrades that made it a virtually identical deal. In fact when the $750 coupon came out, I checked and the difference between my deal and the new one was under $20.
  17. That depends how your cable company (and the TV) works. Most newer HDTVs come with the CableCARD slots which allow you to just insert a card you get from your cable company (assuming they support it), along with the cable carrying the signal, so you don't need the HD box from the cable company. I really think the best value these days are in the LCD TVs in the 30" - 37" range. When the holidays come around, those should drop in price even more. If you really want a nice one, wait for the new LCDs with true 1080p resolution (1920x1080). There is one from BenQ coming out in a 37" size with a MSRP of $1999. Prices will drop on the older models as these come out as well.
  18. Nope. Give them (Dell) about 4 weeks until the next fiscal quarter ends and that deal should be back...
  19. I'm fairly sure you'll see at least one non-HD plasma for $999 or less by the time Black Friday rolls around. Of course by then you'll be able to get 32-37" HD-Ready LCD models for the same price or less, so...

  21. The free home theater system has a "value" of $179.99 so I'd definitely pick that up even though you'll have to pay $20+ for shipping.
  22. Just placed an order. No tax and no shipping for me. Don't really need it for anything right now, but at this price it's nice to have...
  23. just posted this on the main site before i saw this post. shows free shipping in the shopping cart, but other sites say shipping is extra. anyone know?
