It's a very good deal, especially compared to the recent deals Dell has been having. Their next fiscal quarter doesn't end for another 6 weeks, so you could always wait, but their end-of-quarter deals have been lacking lately as well. In the "glory days" with the $750 off $1499 coupons, you'd get a deal similar to this one with a pretty loaded system for just over $700. This one has the new Core Duo chip which is nice as well. The "true" free shipping (without the annoying $24 handling fee) is also nice.

Also if you "agree" to receive next year's book at regular price, they'll take off $5 for this year. A good idea is to use a one-time use credit card number if your card has them. That way they can't charge you for next years book. You can also just call them up and cancel the auto-renewal before next year as well. I've done the one-time use CC thing several times a year for the last 3 years or so with no problems.

Dead: Dell Inspiron 6000 - $449 AR - Dell.com
Brad replied to mrn8's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
coupon no longer works, and it looks like some are having their orders cancelled. -
New items will be added when we have them. There is no schedule. Winners are always posted in a thread and notified via PM. If you win you'll know about it.

I have the older Samsung ML-1710 laser and it's worked well for the last 3+ years I've had it. I've had success refilling the toner cartridges 1-2 times with the generic toner you can get on eBay or other sites. You don't want to refill it more than that, but I had the starter toner and refilled it twice for much less than one replacement toner would have been.

There probably is a plugin for vB that does it, but the question of how it would impact the server performance would have to be looked at before we'd do it. There are other options we could consider for those types of threads as well, which we are also considering...

Any one know of any Tent deals?
Brad replied to threekids55920's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Moving to Deal Finder board as this is not a deal. -
Other than the very few small and mediums left, that's it for that design.

Has there been any more thought on GottaDeal.com Hoodies?
Brad replied to cthulhu's topic in Discuss GottaDEAL
What I'm thinking of doing is coming up with a design that would look good on both regular t-shirt and hooded sweatshirts and then ordering them both at the same time. Don't know how soon it will be done, but I'd guess I'd have them ordered by the end of the month hopefully. -
look for a new t-shirt announcement in the next month or so...

moving to deal discussion as this is not a valid deal

FYI, if it shows up as Sold Out on the site, you can try the old JavaScript trick to add it to your cart. Just go to the product page, and then type this in the address bar of your web browser: javascript:fnAddItemToCartWithAccessories('1134698319292','7634385') and then hit enter. It should add it to your cart. This works with many items that BB claims are sold out on the site. I can't guarantee you'll get the order, but it's worth a shot if you really want the laptop.

Other than on Black Friday, we've never consistently posted future ads. Some of our forum members post them from time to time - for example here is tomorrow's Best Buy ad: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=30168

link should be working now

What are you buying (or at least what product category)? Most of their offers are limited to specific departments.
-
Keep in mind that if you see a deal here on GD and then buy through eBates, we lose any commission on that sale (which, since we have no ads, is what pays for this site) and eBates gets it (and then gives you a small part of it back). Just something to consider

We've had some threads about not-so-good service, so which stores have you done business with that have gone above and beyond to provide good service?
