Your signature is stored in the forum database (the actual code for it - not the images themselves) so retrieving that data every time someone views a thread does have some impact on the server. Plus like you said not having them makes things load faster for everyone, which is important when things are busy.

Where did you hear the plasma at WM is an HD model? I find that very hard to believe for that price.

The MP3 Player isn't $29.99 yet (which is why it doesn't have the "ORDER ONLINE NOW" red text by it). If you are referring to what I posted about the price changing in the shopping cart, the lower price will show up in your cart only once Amazon/ToysRUs makes a price change. You can keep it in your cart, and once they lower the price there will be a yellow box with red text saying "the MP3 players price has decreased to $29.99...."

Yes, if it's in your cart and the price changes, when you go to your cart there will be a box at the top saying "this decreased from $4 to $3, etc..."
