I think by group it means the different user groups like "registered users", "moderators", "users with 100 posts", etc... I think you can belong to more than one group for things like special "perks", etc.... but right now we don't have any of those set up.

Can we? Yes. So can anyone else who has access to our server such as our host, etc... It's the same on pretty much any forum you visit. I don't believe vBulletin encrypts them or anything. Do we? No.

We get an e-mail telling us what thread/post the button was clicked from, and we take whatever actions we feel are necessary.

99% of the words on the censor list are site names and URLs that have spammed here. We think most of you are able to express yourself without having to resort to using that kind of language too often. We know it happens every so often, which is fine. But considering there are children who may be viewing the site, especially the non-Lounge, open-to-everyone forums like this on, use restraint :) and mugs gives me the idea for my new avatar, so blame him if you don't like it

No changes have been made to the censor list, so if anything is getting bleeped, it's been getting bleeped forever. Do you ****ing understand?

Exactly. Especially now with them half off, it only takes like 2 or 3 good coupons to pay for the book. Most coupons are good until November 1st, so that is still way more than 6 months to use them all. For anyone considering it, you can see most if not all the coupons in your local book on the Entertainment site. Find a few that you would use and before you know it, the book pays for itself. Plus GD earns $4 per book sold as well, so you're helping us out too You could also wait another 2 months or so and they'll drop all the books to $10. However by then a lot of cities are sold out, so you can't wait too long.

/me slowly steps away from this thread

Correct. You wont see any of their posts. If they start a thread, you wont see the thread at all (so you wont see any responses from anyone else either). The only way you'll know they are posting is if someone quotes their post in their own post. Then you'd see their original post.

You have to get an account on digg.com first. Then you can "digg" any of the deals on the site. The more people that digg a story/deal, the higher placement it gets on digg. You can probably find more info on digg.com. Just another way to promote the site (if people use it). Once you have an account and click the "Digg It" link, the URL will automatically be filled in.

Couple days ago. I saw it on another deal site and decided to steal it

Assuming all the rebates come through, this is a very hot deal. As a comparison, CompUSA has a 17" model this week for $179 after rebate, but it's a Norcent, which is not even close to Viewsonic as far as quality - and it's $40 more. As long as the rebates come, it'll be hard to get anything much better than this deal until BF comes along. There might be similar deals, but you'd be taking a chance by waiting. The rebate+rebate+coupon deals are pretty rare, and when they do happen, you won't always find them in stock. Also keep in mind that pretty much all 17" LCDs have the same # of pixels (and therefore same resolution) as 19" LCDs, so although they are smaller physically, you can still fit the same amount of stuff on the screen. And one other thing for anyone looking for an LCD - if the rebates scare you, Dell has their 17" analog LCD on sale for $211. You can get a $25 off $150 coupon on eBay for a few bucks and end up getting that one for around $186 w/ free shipping. Not as cheap as the model at OD, but no rebates. This deal (or similar ones) will pretty much always be available as long as Dell keeps releasing coupons. The models might change week to week, but a sub-$200 17" LCD from Dell will be easy to get.

Go to shopping cart at OD.com. Choose pickup at store. Select a store. Go back to product page and refresh. See what the availability status is. If not "In Stock", then go back to shopping cart and pick another store. Repeat until you find one or until the stores get too far away. At least that's how I always did it.

Moving to Deal Discussion as this is not a deal. -
I can't find any right now. I can make one when I get some time. Or just take the one for the NCAA pool and make the ball white http://www.gottadeal.com/images/tourney.gif

Pages should once again be working. If you run into problems, reply to this thread letting me know.

The upgrade last night somehow conflicted with the member page function. I'll look into it today and hopefully have it fixed. The member page system is a 3rd party add-on for vBulletin, so if the original author hasn't provided an update, it may take a while.
