This is something we have been planning for some time now (for other reasons more related to privacy), and the recent drama in the Lounge made this as good of a time as any. So as of now, the GottaTalk Lounge forum is semi-private. To better protect the privacy of our members who may post about personal / family matters, the forum is also not available to lurkers. It's simple - if you can see the forum, you have access and if you don't see it, then you don't have access. There are currently several hundreds members with access, and that number will grow over time. GottaDeal.com is primarily a deal site, so having an off-topic forum is not a necessity, but we don't want to close it because many of our most active members have made it their home and we are very happy to have them here. However, if the drama in the Lounge continues, we won't hesitate to temporarily or permanently remove access to the Lounge for any and all participants in these incidents. This is your first and only warning. We are not babysitters - running this site is a business. This is a private board and we have the right to run it as we would like. We ask that you act like the adults you are. After all, this is just a message board :) If you don't have access to the Lounge and would like to request it, send a PM to RossMAN or myself letting us know. Since there seems to be so much discussion about this, let's keep it all in one thread. To be honest, I think you aren't going to see that many deals tomorrow that haven't been available in the past. Seems to me like Cyber Monday is a creation of the media. Anyone who has visited GottaDeal all year round knows there are deals to be had every single day. But regardless, here is the thread to discuss all things Cyber Monday. Any really hot deals we post tomorrow (and any other day for that matter) will appear both on the main GottaDeal.com site and a corresponding thread for each deal will be posted in the Daily Deals Board here on the forum. Any deals you guys find should either be posted in this thread or in a new thread in the Online Deals Board here on the forum. Please make sure that the deal has not been posted in the past and that it is a legitmately hot deal. Like I said, GD is primarily an online deals site, so basically every day is Cyber Monday for us here :)

Yeah a lot of the items are still in processing (judging by the stats from our Amazon sales through the site). With the weekend, things ordered Wed-Fri might not ship until Monday or Tuesday.

You can post & discuss after-Christmas sales in the Offline Deals board once this forum closes :)

Keep an eye on the Online Deals (http://forums.gottadeal.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2) and Daily Deals (http://forums.gottadeal.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5) boards as we'll have any hot Cyber Monday deals that come up. Of course we have hundreds of new deals each week posted here on the site, so if you are sticking around, you're going to get great deals all year round :)

Also a few more things: 1. The BF site itself will be converted to an "archived" version in the next few days. The ad lists will still be up, but your shopping lists won't be available so if, for whatever reason, you want to do anything with your shopping list, do it in the next day: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/list.php. This archived version of the BF site will be up for a few weeks/months, at least until the end of the year. 2. The actual Black Friday scans (which you can get here: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=15792) will be removed before the end of the year, so if you need to save them for whatever reason, do so now. If later on you need some information from one of the ads, send me a PM and I'll look it up. 3. On Monday, things will pretty much be "back to normal" here on GD. RossMAN and I will be on the forum, but (at least speaking for myself) maybe not as much as I was in the weeks leading up to BF. So if you post something that needs our attention and we don't get to it as quickly as we have been doing, you'll know why :) Also most new deals we post will be in the regular deal forums, so if you have stayed here in the BF forum for the last 2 months, you might want to check out the other boards. 4. Kind of off-topic but the drawings for the charity contest and the last 2 gift cards will be held on 11/30. We'll have some new contests very soon as well as some new items added to the GottaPoints store.
