I talked to our affiliate rep this morning and we should be soon receiving a list of which items will be available online and which are in-store only :)

Yeah, those are part of the arrays() error that happens every so often. I thought the upgrade might fix it, but it looks to be a problem with the server cluster, so we'll have to deal with it until we go back to the old server after BF. So just disregard those "no permission" errors - nothing is wrong with your account, you're not in trouble, nothing to worry about :)
-
We just upgraded the forum software, so if you notice any bugs or see any unfamiliar error messages, please post them here. This does not apply to the error message we've seen the last few weeks dealing with arrays and functions.php. We are aware of that error, so no need to report that one. Same goes for generic "Database Error" messages - we get an e-mail when those happen. I'm talking more about just getting strange messages or weird behavior when you are trying to do normal things like post, send PMs, etc... Note that a few of the forum "features" are also currently disabled because of the upgrade. Those will return in a week or so.

yes, the free shipping offer is good through some day in december.

It says if you order between 5am and 12pm you should get the $10 off :)

We are seeing way too many threads whicih are nothing more than "Are there any XYZ on sale on BF?" questions. To find out if something is on sale: 1. Go here: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/ 2. In the upper right you'll see a search box 3. Enter your search terms (such as dvd player, barbie, hdtv, etc...) and hit enter. 4. View the search results. Or just look through the ads: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=82464 These kinds of threads will be deleted by moderators in the future. Thank you for your cooperation :)

That page wasn't in the leaked ad we received, which is why isn't in the ad scan. Now that the ad is on walmart.com, we won't be updating it. I have however added the missing items to the list on the main BF site so you can add them to shopping lists.

Save $20 on $50 ShoeBuy.com Purchase When Using PayPal Through 12/10
Brad replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
No. This deal cannot be combined with any other promotion, including regular Shoebuy coupons. But it can be up to a 40% discount which is pretty nice by itself anyway. -
you mean you all actually see something in one of the ads worth camping out long enough to require a tent for?
-
I think there were a few, but the prices were not as good as you can get online from places like Buy.com and Amazon.com.

One thing to remember is that Wal-Mart very rarely has "sales" to begin with. Even during the rest of the year, their weekly circulars mostly have "everyday low price" type items and occasional "special buys". The early bird items in the BF ad are the true "sale" items and are mostly below regular prices. The non-early birds are in many cases just regular prices like WM's normal ads. Same thing happened at least the last 2 years with their BF, so it's not a new thing from them.

Now that it's officially November 19th on the east coast, I present to you the worst kept-secret in BF history: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=82464 Feel free to discuss the ad (and complain) as much as you want to in this forum now
-
As I said, I'm not saying all of them (or even the majority), but they are the only employees to come on the site and so emphatically support what Wal-Mart did with their threats. I've never seen that from any other store that has threatened us in the 5 years I've had a BF site.

The spend $50 get $25 deal is going on, but the free shipping with no minimum doesn't start until 11/22.

That should be fixed now. Thanks for catching it :)
