alright, it's the weekend. you all should have some free time to get some pics up. this will probably be your best chance to win one of the BF survival kits!

interesting considering lowes sent their lawyers after us last year for posting the ad early

just so nobody waits up, i'm 99% sure the ad won't be posted until tomorrow morning. we're only half done with the scans, then everything has to be resized, rotated, cropped, uploaded, etc... so i'm probably going to just finish it all tomorrow morning rather than pulling an all-nighter. i need to save those all-nighters for the real BF ads

update: looks like the book is around 80 pages (yes, 80...) so we're not going to be typing up the list of items like we do with BF ads since it's not technically a BF ad (and did I mention it's 80 pages? ), but we'll post the scans once we have the full ad (it could be awhile, lol)

if all goes well with the scanning/emailing, we should have it posted tomorrow morning most likely

doing that just shows these employees/contractors that the ad is very valuable to the right people, and if anything will encourage someone (who wouldn't otherwise have even thought about it) to take it for that reason alone.

IIRC, the Ralph Lauren "ad" was just one thing - like 20% off a certain $ purchase, so nothing to get too excited about. I think RL sent it directly last year. Maybe I should e-mail them and see if they have this year's offer finalized.

Last year on this date we had Polo Ralph Lauren and Harbor Freight (not counting the Ace ad that was taken down), so the ads are not coming out later this year.

I think bigjimslade (who handles most of the facebook duties) sent out a bulletin last night, so that's probably what it was.

doesn't seem that far-fetched. similar spec'd laptops have been in weekly ads all year for $349-399 at various stores, so another $50-100 off on BF wouldn't be out of the question at all.

giving this a bump. going to be very easy to pick the winners if 10 or fewer people enter, lol.

You have to wonder with more stores opening on Thanksgiving Day, if the ads might start appearing in Wednesday's papers instead of Thursday?
