We'll use this thread to try and answer any questions about online Black Friday (or Cyber Monday) shopping that you may have. Note: if your question is something like "Will this store have their BF items online?" or "What time will this store put their items online?" or "Will this particular item be offered online?", you probably won't get an answer in here. We're going to post whatever info we have in the threads in this forum. So find the thread for your site and see what information we have. If there isn't a thread yet for your store, be patient. Once we have firm information, a thread will be created.

This is the 3rd year we've had this particular sub-forum. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, this is where we'll be posting every bit of information we receive about online Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. As always, to keep things organized and to prevent spamming, only the moderators and myself will be able to create new threads in here. Everyone can reply to the existing threads however. If you know of a specific online Black Friday special, either PM me with the information or (preferrably) use the contact form on the Black Friday site. We'll take a look at it, and if it looks good, it'll get it's own thread in here. I will attempt to only post information confirmed by the retailers or our affiliate reps to avoid confusion. If we make guesses/predictions based on past years, we'll be sure to label them as such so nobdy is disappointed if they don't come true. Unlike other sites that rely on finicky and unreliable site scraper scripts, we actually have a small army of volunteers to keep this page updated as we get closer to Black Friday to ensure it's as accurate as possible. What information do you need? The last page in the ad is for Saturday-only specials. Those items have (Saturday) noted on them on the listing on the BF site.

Just a heads up - some of our affiliates have begun sending their Black Friday & Cyber Monday offers in the last few days. We don't have too many just yet (I think around 15 or so in the last few days), but we know how much everyone is looking forward to getting some of the BF deals online, whether or not you plan on fighting the crowds in actual stores. So at some point this weekend we'll be opening our Online Black Friday Deals sub-forum here where we'll post threads for each web site with the deals, days and times that we're aware of. In the threads you'll be able to post questions, coupon codes you find to make the deals hotter and anything else related to the site's BF sale. Hopefully this forum will be the answer for all those "can I order this item from this store's ad online and what day and what time and what time zone will it go on sale?" questions we've been getting lately. We won't have all the answers, but anything we know will be posted in that forum. We'll also post a full schedule for all the major stores as we get closer to next Friday and we learn when the items will appear online at BF ad prices. And we'll be updating the Online Black Friday Deal Tracker with the ad items you can order NOW at Black Friday ad prices. i've been chatting with the head guy at our hosting provider during this while they made some optimizations. he said right now we're getting the most traffic we've ever had

we're going to try keeping the forum open and see what happens. no guarantees that we won't have to close it again, but we'll try. just let pages load and don't keep refreshing. we've had stories on msn before, but up until this year they've never been linked on the home page. and the "problem" happens because there are millions of people out there using internet explorer that never changed their home page from the default... msn.com of course
