maybe just post links to the recipes since most seem to be taken from other sites. or even post your own thread in the holiday forum with all your favortites. my thought when making the thread was that it would be each person's one or two favorite recipes to make it easy to read through (and easier for me to count the entries for the contest, lol). kind of the "best of the best".

In today's mail I got a calendar from my Walmart.com affiliate rep for November/December with all the online promotions they are going to have. They are planning to have the weekly online-only sales starting Sundays with the first being this Sunday (11/1). They are also planning on having special online-only items Thanksgiving Day (different from BF items) and of course most of the BF ad items online and Cyber Monday/Cyber Week deals.

PLEASE only post deals that are offered directly by Amazon.com, and not 3rd party sellers. Items should qualify for free Super Saver Shipping if you spend $25 or free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. Most "deals" from 3rd party sellers quickly become not-so-hot when you add shipping costs.

Here's a challenge: if we can get 300 different members to post a recipe in this thread before the contest ends, I'll double the number of prizes from 5 to 10! The "Share Your Story" contest had over 400 entries, so 300 should be a piece of cake. Speaking of cake, back to the recipes......

We actually got this one from the thread we had last year where we asked for contest ideas. Someone suggested cookie recipes, but I expanded it to include any kind of dessert :) That's what I figured. Have a contest and at the same time maybe everyone can find something new to try to make this year

CONTEST IS OVER!!! HOW TO WIN: Since the last contest required some effort, we'll make this one simple and get everyone in the holiday spirit: post a recipe for your favorite holiday dessert. Adding another rule since it seems to be happening a lot lately: - Do not post links to sites that host ads that we were forced to take down. Do not ask others to PM you to get an ad that we were forced to take down. Do not advertise that you have ads that were taken down in your signature. Everyone knows how to use Google - any leaked ad can likely easily be found - no need to put this site in legal jeopardy by posting these things.
