Same thing is happening when I try. Must be a glitch on the Sears site. Either they put the wrong price on the DOTD page, or they forgot to put the lower price on the actual product page.

Keep in mind that this version is the HD-DVD (and it's not a dual-format version), so it won't play in regular DVD or Blu-ray players.

Next Monday. Although last year they let us post it the Friday before because it had leaked everywhere, so we could still possibly post it sometime this week.

Amazon's deals aren't usually "leaked" because they don't have any printed ads to get out early. Last year we just had to wait until midnight Thursday night and the deals were there. They also had their Gold Box "Lightning Deals" every hour of the day.

not likely. this is their "deal of the day" for today, so after today it will likely go back up to $79, or possibly $99 as the $79 price was part of their "pre-black friday" weekend sale that ends today.

That was Target that has them (although Walmart usually has a similar grouping of appliances for $4-5 every year in their ad).

keep in mind that the one at target probably isn't a very high-quality model either at that price. couldn't find any reviews on the 7" model target has, but amazon has a couple reviews of the 8" model: http://www.amazon.com/RCA-Moible-Players-screens-DRC6282/dp/B001NRM7UA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1258340003&sr=1-1 so again, with all of these cheaper models, you'll get what you pay for.
