    Quick question: Are you a Walmart+ member?

    I'm curious as to how many GDers actually have Walmart+ with the BF sales starting tomorrow, so if you could, reply to this thread with your answer A, B or C and any comments you have:

     

     

    Do you have Walmart+?

     

    A. No.

    B. Yes, but I signed up specifically for the Black Friday sales.

    C. Yes, and I had it before they announced early access to Black Friday sales.

    As far as the bigger ads:

     

    - Kohl's will be released this Friday (late Thursday night).

     

    - Walmart's BF week ad would be released Monday the 15th (late Sunday night) if they repeat what they did last year.

     

    - Target's BF week ad would be released Thursday the 18th (late Wednesday night) if they repeat what they did last year.

     

    - Best Buy I have no clue. They may not even have a traditional ad and will just have deals show up online as they start.

     

    Of course if we get leaked physical copies of these ads they may come sooner like what happened last year.

    GottaDEAL 2022 Black Friday Prize Club Thread

    Update: It is now December 1st and the club is closed to new members. If you missed out, come back in November 2022.
     

    It's back....

    Four years ago we started a club for those who are able to post in a thread once per month all year long. The 2018 club winners received t-shirts. The 2019 club winners received tote bags. For 2020 we gave away sparkly GD enamel pins. And for 2021 we gave away super-bright LED flashlights.

    For 2022 the prize will once again be a mystery until they are shipped out... how exciting!

    All you have to do to win is post in this thread at least once per month from now (November 2021) through October 2022. 12 months, 12 posts.

    You can post as much or as little as you’d like. You could just post “I’m here” or give a 3,000 word monthly update on your life. It doesn’t matter. You can post more than once per month - feel free to reply to others or just be chatty in here. This is what happened the last few years and it was great to see everyone posting all year long. Note that empty posts or quote-replies with no actual reply included won’t count.

    Anyone successfully doing this will get a prize next year. No random drawing, no luck needed. But if you miss a month, you’re out. Hopefully you stick around a little longer than the 6 seconds it takes to post each month, but that’s up to you.

    For the purposes of this contest, each month starts on the 1st at midnight Central time. Also, posts in this thread will not count towards any other Black Friday forum posting contests in 2021 or 2022.

    Reminder: We're always looking for early BF info

    Just a reminder that if you get something in the mail or see something on a Facebook group about something BF related, especially from the more popular stores, feel free to send me a message here on the forum. With all these sales happening all the time, the more advance notice we have, the better.

     

    For example in the next few days it's likely Kohl's will be sending out mailers advertising their BF ad being released and their big early access sale next Friday - we want that kind of stuff posted for everyone to see (and to help our planning for the site).

     

    Same with things like the Bath & Body Works tote bag offer (or whatever they do this year). For smaller stores we really only care about actual BF-week sales - early sale stuff you don't have to bother with but if in doubt let me know and I'll tell you if it's worth sending over.
