  2. That's the thing...Walmart and Target seem to be moving to this format.  These aren't pre-sales.  They ARE the sales.  Retailers are moving to a whole month of sales vs. just having the Black Friday only sales.

For Walmart that's true. It's their traditional sale split up into 3 sets of deals. For Target, I don't consider the weekly deals they've been having actual BF deals - they will have a huge 40+ page BF ad which is their real sale.

  3. Just a heads up that our online Black Friday sale tracker is up and running:

    https://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/Tracker

As we get new Black Friday ads / press releases / announcements I'll add more stores to the page with the relevant info. We're still missing a few bigger stores because we haven't seen the ad or announcement of a start date yet.

You can see a schedule of when the online sales start along with info like free shipping thresholds, coupon codes to use and more.

Please don't take the times on the schedule as definitive. As we've seen year-after-year, stores never seem to follow their own announcements and will put things online whenever they want.

Use the existing threads in the Sale & Ad Discussion Forum to discuss the individual online sales.
