Boooooooo....... I talked to someone from WM today and the impression I got was that they thought they "won" by not having their ad leaked before they could do it themselves. But the way I look at it, they had to leak it a full 2 weeks before Thanksgiving otherwise it would have leaked anyway. Sites like GD forced their hand. Plus if you look at the URL for the ad, it has the date of 111121 in it, which probably means they were going to wait until Monday the 21st but got scared and moved it up, lol.

If you are enjoying the excitement of this thread, come back on Wednesday and Thursday night of BF week when the stores put their BF ad items online. We'll have busy threads like this for all the big stores

Breaking news: Target will be releasing their Black Friday ad at 11:59pm ET tonight

The time is a little strange. I would have done it right in the middle of the day. But they'll get a lot of news coverage tomorrow from it.

Update: Walmart just announced that all of their "Amazing Online Specials" will now qualify for their new "Home Free" free shipping when you spend $45 total.

That's what I thought, but then I checked and CNN revealed the ad last year on the 13th and we posted in 2 days later. Maybe they figure it'll get leaked in the next few days anyway - might as well be the ones controlling it and get those web site hits and Facebook "likes" themselves.

Oh I know they sell them - just that I've never seen them in a BF ad.

Looks like the ad will be posted on their normal "in store ads" page, so you won't need Facebook. But we'll post it here soon after anyway.

Yep. I could post last year's ad, change a few electronics and toy items and most wouldn't know the difference
