From what I remember, yes, they usually put most of their electronics items online.

I bought a Xerox color laser from Newegg the week of BF 3 years ago. Came with a free netbook (which was a big deal at the time) for like $300 total. Still haven't had to replace any toner and not really close to it either. Great printer.

The cheaper ones in BF ads tend to be bulkier, have lower battery life and just not made as well as some of the better ones. I'd suggest looking up reviews on any models you are considering to see what people have to say. If they'll be using it a lot, you might want one that'll hold up more. If it's just a once-in-a-while thing, a cheaper one would probably be fine.

Don't let that stop you from checking. There have been a lot of "in store only" deals that have ended up online as well. When the ad was printed they may not have known if they'd have quantities for online. Things can change.

It has to be added after the post is made - just give it a few minutes to show up - that's a lot of stores to enter

Don't forget when looking at these that not everyone needs a new TV, video game system, etc... but a lot more people will check out cheap DVDs or clothes. So that's why more of the "basics" make these lists.
