The cheaper ones in BF ads tend to be bulkier, have lower battery life and just not made as well as some of the better ones. I'd suggest looking up reviews on any models you are considering to see what people have to say. If they'll be using it a lot, you might want one that'll hold up more. If it's just a once-in-a-while thing, a cheaper one would probably be fine.

Don't let that stop you from checking. There have been a lot of "in store only" deals that have ended up online as well. When the ad was printed they may not have known if they'd have quantities for online. Things can change.

It has to be added after the post is made - just give it a few minutes to show up - that's a lot of stores to enter

Don't forget when looking at these that not everyone needs a new TV, video game system, etc... but a lot more people will check out cheap DVDs or clothes. So that's why more of the "basics" make these lists.

So at this point last year (12 days before BF) we still hadn't seen ads from Walmart, Staples, OfficeMax, Kmart, GameStop and many others that we already have. We have some stores left - Home Depot, Office Depot, the rest of Sears, Meijer, Macy's and some smaller ones, but these next 10 days should be relatively quiet, and then the fun online BF shopping begins
