krissy72
My contract has expired so I am in the market for a new phone. Anyone know if they do bf?
reneemitt
I don't know about bf, but I just got an ad in the mail from them today for an LG sale that runs from the 17th thru the 21st (lovely that I got it in today's mail, huh?)... My contract isn't up until the end of May, so I will still be waiting. Can't give up the $100 credit towards a new phone, ya know!
freesia39
You still get 100 dollar credits? We only got 50 per phone during this round of phone upgrades.

freesia39
the upgrade amount credit depends on the amount of your current monthly planI know, but even I have a hard time paying the amount I pay for my cell phone, considering how little I actually use it. Now it is $50. But I figure $50 is better than nothing at all. Although at this rate, it won't be long until it is nothing.

I used to get around it by changing my phone number every 2 years for better deals, but I got tired of doing it and just upgraded and paid for the phone. reneemitt
Wow - I guess I don't know if I still get $100.00 I was assuming that I did because I hadn't seen any different. I guess I'll have to go look on their website to check what the cut off is... Hmmm...
sgoofi
It's only $50 if you upgrade when one year is up. If you upgrade at the two year period, you'll get $100.

amyelizabethau
I just thought I would post this just incase anyone is interested. I just ordered a new phone and service through letstalk.com today. I had heard that they had better phone prices than in the retail stores. I like T-mobile, so I ordered the MOTO w940 in bubble gum pink. The phone was actually no charge when I ordered it, and I will get a 50 dollar rebate to send in, so I'll actually make 50. I thought this was a pretty good idea, but when I went to check out I will also get a free xbox 360 (I'll have to pay 19.99 shipping). You have to wait 30 days after your purchase then send in the form for the free xbox. I THINK you also have to get the unlimited messaging bundle, which was fine with me because I was going to get that anyway ($20 for 100MB for Data, Web Browsing and e-mail access and free text). So the plan I ordered is 600 anytime minutes (free night and weekends) and the messaging bundle will be about 60 bucks. And since I chose tmobile I will also get some type of free companion flight (not too sure about the details on this). I think these are the only phones that come with the free xbox: AT&T Wireless LG Shine Black, Silver, Red Free Verizon Wireless Samsung SCH-i760 smartphone $200 Samsung SCH-u340 Free T-mobile MOTO W490 Heather Grape, Bubble Gum Pink, Green, Black Free - $50 rebate = make $50 Samsung SGH-t229 Red Free Just do some research on the website if you are interested. UPDATE: Its not that you have to get the unlimited messaging with the phone to get the free xbox, its that your plan total has to be atleast 59.99. j9k
My dd and I went to two Verizon stores yesterday after I received the same "upgrade" e-mail. I knew the deal sounded too good to be true! My "New Every Two" comes due at the end of January, 2009. The online site does not match the deal I received in the e-mail, and nobody was helpful on the phone. The offer sent to me showed either a Samsung Glyde or an LG enV2 for FREE or an LG Voyager in Titanium for $29.99 (after several discounts and $50 mail-in rebate). Turns out, there is a $20 "early upgrade fee" if you get this offer prior to your 2 yr anniversary date, and everyone at both stores seemed VERY confused about the e-mail! Finally, a manager came over and asked, "How did you get an e-mail about our Black Friday specials?" She then read it more carefully, and quietly admitted that these are the 3 phones they will have as their BF specials.Long story short...she talked me into waiting 2 months to get the LG Voyager for FREE (no early upgrade fee or the $29.99 fee) when I qualify for my "New Every Two". Another waste of time with Verizon!
queenofshopping
I'm so confused! My contract is about to be up, & I know I used to get the New Every 2 thing...last time it was $100, but this time I may only get $50...but I'll probably get something that's free or cheap w/ new contract anyway. The Circuit City thing with the free Bluetooth headset & gift card caught my eye, but I don't know if I feel like going there. And right now, none of their phones really appeal to me. Still hoping something will come along to wow!

Another waste of time with Verizon! I am a little confused. My daughter wants the LG enV2 for Christmas. Her phone is not due for a upgrade for another year so can I still get this or do I need to be closer to the upgrade? It would be a great big help if that is true.
