wnc_mom Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Up late again I see Brad. When do you sleep?? Thanks for this one. DH has been waiting to see what they have.lol thats just what i was thinking it 1:46 am here i'm not sure what time zone hes in but i think its like 3hrs behind my time. so not too late i don't think?
jdrd90 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I think Brad is in the same time zone as I am, and it is 12:54 a.m. now. Thanks Brad for all of your hard work.
Brad Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 yep, 1:20am here, with half the ad left to type up. don't feel sorry for me though - once BF is over i can sleep for a looooooong time
Brad Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 Done. That wasn't too bad. :) For those of you who remember when I mentioned a few weeks ago about a national retailer that was considering leaking their ad early, it was Home Depot. Unfortunately they decided not to follow through, so we had to wait a little longer for someone else to leak it.
wnc_mom Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 yeah well ya gotta get ready to stay up on black friday lol im slowly trying to ease my self into staying up all day-night-and day again lol Glad ya got it done now go rest lol
ohitsunshine Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 ohh i really want that train set...I was thinking about getting a train set this year. We always had one as a kid but I never got one when I moved out. I think this is a really cute one and a good price too!
BrotherFlounder Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 It looks just like last year's ad! Not that I'm complaining, mind you. This was worth the wait. I got the 4-piece Ryobi kit last year; (it had a radio instead of the minivac), and I love it. And they're offering a free One+ tool with it this year - nice! Looks like they've updated the DeWalt drilling set I got last year, too.
dmmiller Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 there are some pretty good doorbusters.. My Dh should be happy. :) Thanks Brad!
citrixgirl Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 good thing we are not all in the same area because that is what i want as well
BrotherFlounder Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 good thing we are not all in the same area because that is what i want as wellDon't worry; where I shopped last year, everyone and their second cousin twice removed was at the Target next door while me and about 10 other people had our choice of anything and everything in Home Depot. YMMV, of course. Last year, they had a whole pallet of the Ryobi combo kits and half-pallets of most of the other doorbusters. Plenty to go around, though I'd still get there early.
kimmers71 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 You rock Brad!! Home Depot has some great items!!
flyjar Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Thanks Brad, I might actually get some poinsettia too.
RmV73 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Thank you Brad I have been waiting for this one and now I just need Toys R Us and I wll be set.......
slinkster65 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Nice ad. A few things that I willl have to consider going in and getting. Now, if HHGregg would show up on here with maybe Brandsmart I would be set!
hopeky94 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Nice-- but unfortunately our HD was one of them that closed this year! I really like that Magic Chef 4.0 cu ft refrigerator-- it's the smallest I've seen with a separate freezing compartment. Being single with a small house, it would be the perfect size! Does anyone know if Lowe's will pricematch? (There's still an HD about 30 miles away, but that area will be super-crowded I'm sure!) Does Home Depot offer these same deals online on BF?
freesia39 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Nice ad. A few things that I willl have to consider going in and getting. Now, if HHGregg would show up on here with maybe Brandsmart I would be set! After what HHGregg pulled last year, I doubt it'll show up anytime soon.
slinkster65 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Oh, what happened last year? I can't remember what companies get their boxers in a bunch from year to year... Plus, with 2 term papers due in the next week, 2 presentations, and some other misc stuff before finals my brain is pressed for space!
mccabefamily29 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I see quite a few things to think about, but they had lots of tool kits for 5 dollars a few weeks ago which was a better deal than in the ad.

We receive ad, it's posted. HHgregg: "Wait everyone knows what we're selling. We didn't realize this. This is uncool." HHgregg: "TAKE THE AD DOWN NOWWWWWWWWWWW. Even though we sent it straight to you, take it downnnnnnnnn." http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=87541&highlight=hhgregg
slinkster65 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Ah, ok. Yeah, that smelled funny lst year. Almost like 1 or 2 people in upper management freaked when it got sent. Even if upper manageent is a little psycho, they are MUCH easier to get in and out of than BB where I live, and CC when it was still "viable".
j-bo Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 The Fiesta Grill is a STEAL. I bought this grill earlier this year for the regular price ($449) after doing tons of research. I love this grill and for $249 are you kidding me?!!! I should buy another and put it away and wait for my kids to move out and give it to them. HA! Get there early as it is a "while supplies last" deal. The weber is a good price, but "online only" means they'll get you on the shipping costs to make it a so so price.
bluebear Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Yea! They have the ladder again. Every year I say I want to get one, then I don't feel like messing with it and talk myself out of it, then all year wish I had it... Wish me luck actually following through this year!

Get iiiiiiiiiit.
cebsme Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Thanks for the ad, I always stop at home depot its essential for stocking stuffers every year for all the men in my life (husband, brother in-law, father in-law) all big into tools and things the make them grunt like Tim Taylor.
Nate Dogg Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Is that a good deal on the patio heater? It would make me lots of friends in line next year.
