BobbyDouglas Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 That Anolon set has quite a few bad reviews from people saying after about 2-3 years of use, the coating comes off. Is this normal for these kind of sets? Should I expect to rebuy every couple years?

If you want to avoid this, you have to go stainless steel. If you go nonstick, just get a nonstick frying pan and plan on replacing it every few years.

afrey66 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 You will want to avoid putting pots and pans in the dishwasher. This is what helps to mess up the finish on them.
