BobbyDouglas
Any suggestions on a cookware set around $150 or less? I'm looking for something pretty similar to http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11286800&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&N=4017652&Mo=22&cm_re=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search&No=19&ViewAll=23&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ns=P_Price|0||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&search=pots&topnav= http://content.costco.com/Images/Content/Product/253550.jpg
cianco301
I seen Kmart had some sets on sale as well as some in the clearance isle.
sposhek
Linens'n Things has about 14 sets similar to this at $159 and under. Plus there looks to be a coupon on the GD homepage for 20% off there.
BobbyDouglas
I see this from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-Nonstick-Hard-Anodized-12-Piece-Cookware/dp/B0006433LI and http://www.lnt.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3054728&cp=1331607.1331948.3173213&view=all&parentPage=family from Linens... BridgeIU
I would go Amazon.com - I have had a couple of sets in my cart for a while waiting for a Kitchen sale. They have a TON of good pots/pans sets. go to everydeal.com and click on Kitchen & Home. Here's an example:Anolon Professional 12-Piece Nonstick Cookware SetList Price: $803.00 Price: $159.99 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. I'd rather spend $150 and get something solid than go with something super cheap.
BobbyDouglas
That Anolon set has quite a few bad reviews from people saying after about 2-3 years of use, the coating comes off. Is this normal for these kind of sets? Should I expect to rebuy every couple years?

If you want to avoid this, you have to go stainless steel. If you go nonstick, just get a nonstick frying pan and plan on replacing it every few years. BobbyDouglas
I cant find the costco one on the Circulon website The Circulon Total 12-pc sure looks really nice, but it's about $188 with tax/shipping. Local store doesn't have it in stock.
freesia39
I wouldn't be surprised if that Circulon set at Costco is a "for Costco only" special and you won't find it on their website.
afrey66
You will want to avoid putting pots and pans in the dishwasher. This is what helps to mess up the finish on them.
