used soap?????

Hey, my dad showed me the place where they use to get used bread. All I could say was, you were poor, dad. I'm pretty sure he meant day old bread, but hey, it's a memory I'll never forget!

Yep I agree even after the shipping it is STILL a good deal . Ivory irritates my skin for some reason...it must be the fragrances. We use Aveeno Oatmeal soap since my youngest 2 have excema..

Dh thinks Ivory soap is cool because it floats and explodes in the microwave (Don't ask me HOW he knows that!) LOL

My dd was looking at a book the other day and said "can we buy this kind of soap? It floats." I said, honey that is just a drawing...soap doesn't float! LOL I guess I have to admit I was wrong and go buy her some Ivory.

This is the only kind of soap we use at our lake place (keep a bar on the dock in case someone needs to wash up). It's the only kind we've ever found to float! :yup:

Actually, this may be true, but you'd probably have to leave it in the microwave for a really long time. Have your son (edited, OPPS, hubby lol) watch this video.

You'll have to click the video link from the above link.

I just happened to run across it while looking for the history of Ivory soap. LOL You can see that here at snopes:

BTW, Ivory really dries the skin. My mom bought it when we were younger, but I can't buy it now. Like many others, we use liquid soap for the moisturizing properties. Agree that it's a great deal for those who use it though.
