I just left a store where they were only 1/2 way through marking things. I just kept bringing the toys with 30 or 50% stickers on them to one of the two girls with scanners and they would mark them down to 75% off for me. So if your store wasn't marked down this morning, I'd check again. I also got the Better Batter someone was asking about for 75% off. Good luck!

Ok I spent 2 hous in the toy department. Wound up with 500 dollars worth of toys for 125. ( Had 2 shopping carts full ) All while I had my 5 year old with me and he didnt notice a thing! I got him to pick out one thing he wanted and had him sit in the seat and I filled the cart and another one while keeping clothes covering them while he looked at the new toy box he picked out, it was great!

ok, I love you guys SOOOO much! Hit up the Concordville, PA store at 8:30am (while my DD6 was in ESY)...there were 3 associates w/guns changing the 30% to 75%, and i was ALONE...got my pick of anything...was kinda what my heaven would look like! lol...took me a minute to figure out that they needed to scan the item for me to get the lower price (since it wasn't in the system at that price yet)...sometimes i'm slower than the average bear :)

Some stuff I picked up:

Hooked on Phonics, 2nd grade and 2nd + ones (so excited to get them for $7.48 and $19.98!!!)

Hannah Montana dolls $3.74, HSM pool and dolls $4.98 BLENDY PENS!!!! I was soooo excited since my DD6 has been begging for them for the past year and they are usually so expensive! picked up a box for $3.74 :) Also picked up some other blended pen set w/picture frames. Vsmile (pink) for $12.xx, some easy reader thingy (very similar to the TAG stuff)....i'll have to revise this later with the receipt! Anyways, big fun was had by me (even picked up the little carebears for myself, lol)....stopped at the Claymont DE target at 10:30am and it was wiped out! Still managed to find a HM closet set and a few other things...maybe it's better i missed the majority of stuff seeing as our storage area looks like a toy store

I got tons of Bratz and Hannah Montana (barbie) dolls for 75% off, they also had some littlest petshop & Americas Top Model (barbies) 75% off too. They had an isle full of clearance, but when I walked through the rest of the isles they all had some clearance toys in them too. There were only a few things that were 50% off and not 75% and they had more girl and little boy stuff here, a few summer (chalk, jumpropes). Glad I went & checked today! The sings still said 30% but all the items were marked correctly.

They said they didn't know when the toys would go 75% when I asked a LOD member. Don't most targets do the toy markdowns in the same week??? Any thoughts or suggestions.

One, I would go back today, my Target was marking them down when I got there at 10:00am, so they may be a little behind. Also I heard someone from service say over the walkies "are the clearence toys 75%" The associate answered back no!!! I couldn't believe my ears as all the toys were 75%. Oh my! I now believe that they definitley lie!

by the time i got out and headed over to target, it was pretty much cleared out. did see the pink v-tech machine for $12.XX. got my DD a feather boa for $1.84 and a couple baby rattles for $2.48(50%). diapers marked down to $19.XX.

BUT I got a heck of a deal at Target in Lubbock, TX yesterday.

They had the 24pk of Frito Lay snack sized DORITOS chips for 2.98. which is a good enough deal in itself with school starting the 12th and packed lunch everyday!! BUT when I got home I noticed that ALL the packages (I got 5 with FAR expiration dates) have a coupon for a FREE package of 6ct single pack Frito Lay in ANY FLAVOR *ex.9-30-08. I wish I would have had a coupon that would have been SWEET!

 

My question is my coupon has a target symbol on the back by the barcode does that mean it is only good at Target and nobody else will take it? I don't have a Target!

 

I also got a 5FT tall Kitty cat skytower (lots of cubbies and holes and things for the kitty to play in (it is HUGE 5FT tall and at LEAST 5FT wide with several cubbies) regularly 59.99 for 12.48. They had several different varieties for $6-12. My kitten loves it, my cat on the other hand is too lazy and just lays in the bottom cubby

This month's Target Perimeter Perusing thread marks the official start of the new monthly summary feature. Each month, the beginning posts of the thread will contain a summary of clearance finds from the previous month, as well as the current month's finds.

 

The post for the current month will be updated periodically (usually hourly) by an automated script. The script will go through the thread looking for lines which are labeled as being clearance finds and add them to the summary. Because this is the first month, expect there to be a few bugs with the script, and I'll do my best to fix them as we go along.

 

Again, when you want to add an item to the summary, include it in your post and prefix the line by adding three consecutive # symbols. Your post can also contain non-item lines, just don't use the three # symbols for those lines. The more information you have about each item, the better. Just keep each item on it's own single line so you don't confuse the script.
