bigjimslade Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 I am going with Walmart but Best Buy is a very close secondI agree with you! It will be WM or BB....or both on the same day!
stationchief Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Without looking at last year, I'll guess Best Buy. Hoping for Wal-Mart, though.

f1rstclass Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 I think KMart because they are going to try and get those folk who like to layaway in the stores.
Ravenseye Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Nah, can't be a big boy...gotta be a small one first...the ones with the least to lose in corporate intelligence. So, I vote None of the Above! -Mike

amyers12345 Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 WM and BB are working way too hard to keep them secret. I'm going w/ Ace Hardware.

Brad Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 HAHA!!!! Let the bidding for BF ads begin!!! I think you're, without a doubt, the favorite person in here tonight Brad!!!Brand new this year is the Black Friday @ GottaDeal.com Super Elite Premium Membership. For the low, low price of $99.99, you will get access to all the ads 10 minutes before everyone else! PayPal accepted! (and the sad/scary thing is, I'm willing to bet there would be more than one person on here who would pay if we did offer such a thing, lol)

Seems I'm a tad short.
rockpzazz Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 I said none of the above. Last year I think it was Ace Hardware first. I don't think Wal-mart will be first, and honestly, I bet Circuit City is leaked before Best Buy.
stationchief Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Who wants to bet me that the moment we see the first ad come in it'll show up for auction on eBay? I remember people did that last year and made some small fortunes selling the leaked ads to poor saps who didn't know any better. And the ads they were selling even had the web site's 'stamp' on it mentioning where to get it for free. That's just ... wrong.
Guest OctoberMomX2 Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 TRU or Kmart since there ad's usually bite the big one...
dmmiller Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Since I already have all the ads, I vote for whichever I decide to post first :)Ohhh, thats not even nice. Nah, can't be a big boy...gotta be a small one first...the ones with the least to lose in corporate intelligence. So, I vote None of the Above! -MikeI agree with Mike.. I think it'll be a smaller one. One we're not "dying" to see.

The funny part is is that you're probably right about some people being willing to actually pay the $$$... eye yei yei!!! :)
shopping mom Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Last year I think ACE was first, but who knows. I think a smart company would be reading this site and know what many of us want and then give us an ad that we could not resist no matter what the other companies have come up with. Personally my favorite ad was Sears last year, so I hope they do well again and come out first.
