  5. Hey, I'll be up in Michigan this year for Black Friday and I was wondering if anyone in the area waited in line at their local Best Buy for last years Black Friday? I was wondering about what time people were lining up last year in MI? I was up there in 2005 and 10pm was the time the first guy showed up and he said it was about Midnight before the next guy showed up (wish it was still that way...). I know each year gets earlier and earlier, but was wondering if anyone was up there last year. Down here in the DFW, TX Metroplex I showed up at my local Best Buy on Thursday at around 4pm last year and there were about 30 people already lined up. I know people typically haven't lined up QUITE as early in MI because it's SOOOO COOOOLD. Anyone got any local info? Thanks! "Going Strong 6 BF's in a Row!"
  6. Probably the Desktop or Laptop... maybe both? Digital Camera w/ picture frame. $149 Digital Videocamera maybe some DVDs
  7. Unethical? No. You stand out in the cold and wait in line all night long. You can do Whatever you want with the items. Explain to me what is unethical in that??? Nothing. Look up the word in the dictionary.
  8. that must've been a store by store thing. because the past 2yrs, the BB's i went to both handed out the tickets starting at 4am.
  9. Yeah, for the past 2 years lowes has had their store brand 12gallon shop vac on sale for about $25. Home depot has had a similar sale also, which is where I got my shop vac two years ago (BF05). Reason being is because it was Ridgid brand, instead of a store brand. Either way, a good deal! Also, there really is no need to go very early to a store like Lowes or THD. I've gone to both the past two years and with each time, people didn't start lining up until 30minutes before store opening. I guess the power tool types aren't as die hard as the electronic types... haha!

    Movies/CD's

Last year BF06, Target had Harry Potter 1 thru 4 on sale for $4.99. 1 thru 3 were the 2-disc special edition and 4 was the single disc version. So, if anything, somewhere MIGHT have the single disc version on sale. I would imagine it'd be around $10 though, since it'll be that much newer to shelves.
  11. Hopefully they'll have something bigger this year for a comparable price...
  12. AWESOME!! Thanks Marcster!! This'll give us something to look forward to come Mid October!!!
  13. I know Panasonic makes the Toughbook. They have the commercial with the people walking around in different professions dropping their notebook and spilling stuff on it.

  15. haha, there's always the reoccuring nightmare of oversleeping on Tgiving day!!!
  16. haha, that's TERRIBLE! I can't believe people would go that far just to get a good deal! I think there'd be some swinging going on if that happened to me... haha!
  17. WOW!! so early!!! thanks brad, how exciting!!!
  18. haha, you're TOO funny!!! I'm SURE Best buy doesn't have exclusive rights to passing out pieces of paper! haha! i love it!! sorry, i just found that funny. :)
