We know that we could have purchased the tv for 999 on black friday, but we were not willing to wait in line all night to discover that they were all sold out. The plasma ending in 60u is the older model & you can haggle on price of that one. fyi - Overall we're finding ALL are $300 more then they were the week before BF so we'll wait for the after Christmas sales.
