  1. how is everyone getting free cereal and free granola bars?? I have been away from this thread for awhile, so please fill me in. :) I only see the 50 cent off coupon for the cereal. What am I missing?

  4. i have left my coupon folder at the checkout conter before, but managed to go back and find it in the same place I left it. Sometimes, you just forget, especially if you are using coupons or there is some issue, or if u are just distracted. Maybe it is a good idea to put a llittle sticker on it with your phone number taped to it on the front? I don't have any identifying info in my coupon folder, but I am thinking about just putting my phone number on the outside in case I ever do lose it...any suggestions or opinions on that?
  5. Not sure if anyone found these but I found 2 packs of various BOD sprays (each pack containing 3 different BOD sprays) for 2.44. They were 75% off. They had them for men and women. The one for men smelled pretty good! I gave them to my little bro , so now he has a nice collection of colgnes and body spray...
  6. How many of you are able to use expired Target coupons successfully...meaning that they scan with no problem? Who is unable to use expired Target coupons?

  10. I heard that someone else had a bad experience with this Kendra customer service rep. I really really really want to get her in trouble for how she treated me (and others). She had no right to be so rude to me and then hang up on me in the end. On another thread, someone said that this Kendra did the same thing to her...just hung up on her! I think that I will call and ask to either speak with supervision or coorperate about her. I am just waiting until I get my complete order and my refund..if I ever get it!

So, today, I check my email and I get a confirmation that my credidt card WAS charged for the initial amount for my two items, even though this Kendra from Toys R Us claimed that I would be getting a refund. So, my credit card now shows that I was charged twice. Good job Toys R Us! Did you mess up again?!?! I called and , this time, got a much nicer representative. I guess not all of the Toys R Us reps are rude jerks like Kendra. :) Anyway, she double checked and said that sometimes I have to be charged in order to get a refund. umm I am not sure about that, but she said give it 3-5 days. Since she was so nice, I will give it 3-5 days. In the end, I should get the credit and only be charged once. We shall see.
  12. Thanks , autumn...never again will I order through Toys R Us online. Will google credit my money? Toys R Us sent me an email that I will be credited (for less than the total that I paid (!!!) but more than what I paid with the google checkout). So, does that mean that google will give me the credit minus ten bucks back or will they give me the entire credit? How long does it take?
  13. I am FURIOUS. I did the buy one get one free deal with the wrestlers. I ordered one and got one free and went through google checkout with my ten dollar credit. I got the confirmation from google for BOTH items. A few hours ago, however, I receive an email from ToysRUs saying that they shipped my item. For some reason, they someohow have no record of my free item! I called and first, the lady said that the item was unavailable. I told her it showed available online. Then, she blamed google checkout for not informing Toys R Us of my other item. SHe told me that they could credit my google checkout and then re-order the item, but I would have to pay 20 some bucks for the expediated shipping and the item. The item was supposed to be free!!! So, I told her that I should only have to pay 11.53 because that is what I paid for the item and shipping and then 10 dollars off at google. After all this trouble,and being put on hold and rudely interrupted by the music 2-3 times, she said that I would be crediteed but she would have to re-order my free item and I would have to pay for it, but she would subtract ten bucks to make up for the google promotion that I lost. Also, she said that because I was doing the reg. shipping, it probably wouldn't get here for 2-3 weeks (BS!)...and this was their fault! As I was asking her when I would see the credit on my account at the end of the phone call, this lady Kendra hung up on me. During the convo, when I was asking questions, she just interrupted me with the music and didn't even tell me to hold on or one moment please, etc. I called back and I complained to a customer service rep about how rude this Kendra was and she was going to connect me to a supervisor. Then, I checked my email and it looks like they credited me for my item. Let's see if it actually goes through. ANyway, so at that moment, I said that I didn't want to get this Kendra in trouble, so this time I would not speak to supervision, but if she could put in a note or something that I complained and customer service should not just hang up on people or throw on music mid-conversation or mid-question. Now, if I don't get my refund, I gurantee you that I will be calling them back and complaining about Kendra and Toys R Us online. At this point, I just want my items and for the amount that I was supposed to pay for them, but I am so ticked off by the way that I was treated over the phone. Oh, and initially she told me that i would have to receive my item and then send it back and then re-place my order for both items even though the promotion for buy 1 get 1 would be over by the time i received my item, therefore, making me pay full price for both. I told her that was crazy and that I would not be home for many days to receive and send back the item. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!
  14. heads up...a few weeks ago the coke zero coupon worked on sprite zero as well. yesterday, there were only two 12-packs of sprite zero, so I purchased those and tried to use the coupon. The coupon would not scan, so they made me make two separate transactions with two different coupons and they had to manually take the 2 bucks off. They said that they would do it for just that time. That is fine with me. I got the only two Sprite Zero's anyway!
  15. My Target re-stocked the fruit punch ten packs but they scanned at 3.59 . They re-stocked the other juices, but they were all 15-packs at 3.99 I got one 10 pack of apple juice last week and have not seen anymore since.

Don't you hate it when cashiers take the time out to read every coupon before scanning them, rather than just trying to scan them first....I especially hate when they read the coupon and misinterp. the language (e.g., that I can only one coupon per transaction, when in actuality, I can use one coupon per item...as someone else stated above). Often, I will say just "scan the coupon and see what happens"....90% of the time, it goes through. I don't let up anymore. I don't care if there are people waiting in line behind me. Now, if I know that I was taking a chance with a coupon that may or may not work, I will let it go, but I rarely try that. Oh, and a two days ago, there was TONS of stuff in that dollar spot. Today, I went and there was a tiny section of 75% off stuff and a ton of NEW stuff at regular price (mainly Easter). What happened to the old stuff?? I can't imagine it all selling out that quickly. There were lots of sports stuff, like pillows, etc. Did anyone else manage to get those for 75% off? Who knows, maybe they did sell out fast, but I kind of suspect that they took them off the shelves or moved them. Maybe I am wrong.
  17. I went to Safeway yesterday and I think that they screwd me. I purchased 10 boxes of mac and cheese and I didn't get a ten dollar coupon; so, I told the cashier and he went to the customer service desk and they gave me a ten dollar gift card. I made another order with the Kraft to-go snacks and the pouch potatoes, and again I didn't get the coupon. This time I just walked out and called the main Safeway number. They are complete idiots. I called and the lady didn't know anything about the buy ten, get ten deal. I told her to look it up in the computer and she said that she can't use the computer, that she has to look at the ad and doesn't know the details region to region. Ummm, this was the main corperate number, or so I thought. I asked to speak with a manager and she said at first that the coupon would print out at my next purchase. I told her she was wrong. Then, she said that maybe I didn't get qualifying items. Then I told her she was wrong and she said ok, you did get qualifying items. Then, she told me that the items had to be 10 different items. I think that she was full of it, but is that the case that they must be TEN DIFFERENT items to get the coupon???? Oh, and I tried to use the coupons from the internet for the pouches of potatoes and the cashier rudely said that they don't accept internet coupons...come on! They told me that there was nothing else they could do. The first lady told me that I would have to drive back to the store and speak with someone there and present my receipt. What a bunch of crap. Any suggestions or comments? Ok, I just called the store and the customer service women was very nice there and said that I can take her name down and she would take my name and number, and the next time I shop there, go to customer service, and they will give me a ten dollar gift card. She said that they noticed the error in the system yesterday. I am not so sure about that part, but as long as I get my ten bucks, I am happy. I don't think that I will try this thing again.
  18. Am I imagining this or does it seem like the Global B. stuff was out for a such short time before it went to clearance? Furthermore, it seems that there is sooo much of it at my local Target, and I rarely see people perusing the isles despite the 30% off. Do you think that the stuff is losing its appeal, or maybe it is just too expensive? I will check my local target and report back if it went to 50%. I think I will hold off until it goes 75% and hope there is something good that I can add to our bare living room.

  20. At this point, they probably only have one single rack with clearance. I found that, at my local Old Navy, there was one single clearance rack in the men's section and one entire section in the women's section; however, the tiny men's section had the best deals (.97 and 1.97 for shirts and pants, but in limited sizes). The ladies section had racks full of stuff, but it wasn't marked down enough, in my opinion (most stuff was still about 10 bucks or more).
  21. The dollar spot at my local target wasn't marked down at all yesterday...some on here said that theirs was at 50% a few days ago. I too want to know if it is worth driving to target today to get a few dollar-spot items.
  22. I was at target today and got a few free Choxie bars and a few free small bags of AF chips. I also got 2 large bags for a buck (after coupons, of course). I used a few of those .50 cents off 2 cans of Campbell's soup coupons as well. In the toy department, I noticed that they had those shark tents for 6.28, or something like that. Too bad I don't need them. Target also had one Eddie B. blanket at 75% off at 14 bucks and some change. The tag said 28 something. It was originally around 58 bucks.
  23. I only see Ancher Farms (or something like that) chips by the registers but not the Market Pantry chips. Are they the same company? Will the coupon work on the Farms chips?
