suebee32539 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 It is not showing a price of $69.99. When I check out it is the $222. price. No discount was given. Is there a code that I need to use?
Kaylenbabysims Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 It is not showing a price of $69.99. When I check out it is the $222. price. No discount was given. Is there a code that I need to use? its showing up for me at 69
momof3girls Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 The deal is there when I clicked the link. Has anyone ever tried them? Just curious as to how good everything is and do you think this is a great deal? Thanks.
roofy28 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 The food is high quality. But we only order specials, because Omaha is so very pricey.
suebee32539 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 When I click the link it is the $222 price not the $69. I have tried checkout to see if it would show up but still would show $222. Oh well guess I will have to pass can't get the link to work for me. Thanks anyway. The steaks are great though. Have order from them seveal times before and have always been very pleased.
angel428 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Did for me I ordered it hope they are good first time ordering from them.
Annettecummings Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 It works. But how much is shipping?
angel428 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 14.95 or something like that not that much
suebee32539 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I called their toll free # and told them I wanted the deal that is listed on the website that is linked at the top. Told them that it was not showing up at the $69 price and they were very nice and did it over the phone. Have already received my shipping notice.
Kaylenbabysims Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 does anyone know? Even with this cheap price is all the stuff even more expensive than something I could buy in the store? and is it really Good quality? I really really wanna order it! But i'm so cheap!!
suebee32539 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I have ordered from here several times and have never been disappointed.
davephillyj Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I am so cheap, too. I get such a good deal at my local stores I wouldn't even think of paying those prices. I get my meat market (I go to all 4 stores in the area) to mark stuff down at least half. I have never paid more than 2.75 for ribeyes or T-bones. Ground chuck is about .75 cents a pound. We get chicken tenders and BS Breasts for 1.25 a pound 4 times a year through a local fundraiser! But thanks for the link, I emailed it to my sis in MD and she ordered 2 of them!
agentblu Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I received an email from Omaha Steaks today saying free shipping today only 11-27-06.
Kaylenbabysims Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 is there a code or anything? I might do it if I can get free shipping!
rimshot Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Tried the link 3 times and it always says $222.00 - even if I add to the cart it doesn't change. Wonder why that is???????
agentblu Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 There's no code. There's a link in the email but I don't have enough posts to give you the link. I tried. Edit: Free Shipping Email says: Prefer to order by phone? Call 1.800.960.8400 & Mention Coupon Code RW5645
rimshot Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Okay called them up instead. She insisted there was no such sale taking place and that the item was full price. So I talked her into bringing up the page and read the sale bit from the top of the page so she took my order via phone Thanks for the tip!!!
kathyjacobs Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 i got the 69.99 price earlier and now its back up to 222.00.....maybe it was an error???
KuponKlipper Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 That is an excellent deal. I wish I had that much to spare. The link worked with the $69 price for me.
suebee32539 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Just call the 800 number on the web page. They will give you the $69 price.
Guest Boraxo Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I ordered from OS many years ago. Nothing against OS, the beef is good quality - but the value is poor as the portions are tiny, i.e. 5oz filet mignons?? After you cook them there isn't much left, certainly not enough for one person unless you are on a starvation diet. You could go to safeway and buy all of these items for less than $69. Or go to costco and get 2 lb of filet mignon for $30, plus a 2lb salmon for $10. That still leaves quite a bit for hamburger and hot dogs.
ccarson1972 Posted November 28, 2006 Author Posted November 28, 2006 I have no idea why it works for some and not others. It still works for me. I am glad that they are letting some of you order at that price via the phone. Sorry to those that haven't had any luck with this offer.
rimshot Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I think 5 oz. is a proper serving size. Remember the new food triangle and the portion no bigger then a fist? I couldn't touch a good filet mignon for that price here. Ribeye is going for $9.99 per pound and I remember looking at the fm and dropping the package in price shock.
KuponKlipper Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 My friend was able to order this on the phone the other day. She has come across a smaller package deal, I will start a new thread.

mvallo Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Here is how I got it to work: first click on any of the 2 links in this thread then click on "back to exclusive offer". it's on the right side of the page in green font under shopping bag. wham the corect price is there!
ilenez Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I tried the last idea of clicking on the right side for back to exclusive offers and couldn't do it. Any help would be appreciated.
