aprilbaseballmo Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 This is my first year. The weather forecasts rain Thursday night and into Friday. Any suggestions on how to handle the weather while waiting for the deals?
EliteABombAZ Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 I can't believe you people haven't stated the obvious... ... maybe an umbrella?
daz Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 you can get those ponchos in a bag for around $10, or a really cheap version for $2 or $3
krolyat Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 or if you have a Dollar Tree in your area you can get 2 ponchos for $1.00 (they won't be open until their normal time on BF though)
elena_398 Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Get a poncho. Dollar store sells them or Walmart. I buy the disposable ones. Cheapy but serves its purpose. I have one now just in case on BF
Novac Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 I thank God that my wait-in-line stores are in the mall, that's what I do. Or, if I happen to be outside, I'm generally shocked that it's raining and not snowing.
Rebirth Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Umbrellas are a big hassle for BF shopping especially when you have a big one.
Stealth Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 by a clear plastic sheet from the hardware store and throw it over you
CrayZMama80 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I was gonna say umbrella or poncho. But you all beat me to it.
able Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Umbrellas are a big hassle for BF shopping especially when you have a big one.or a good weapon,,, kidding!!! as for what to do...many stores have an overhang if your near the front of the line.
DopeCracker Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Drive your truck onto the sidewalk and stay warm and dry. HAHA, Thats what a true Texan would do.
deelite Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Drive your truck onto the sidewalk and stay warm and dry. HAHA, Thats what a true Texan would do. You know I actually thought about that !! Since I only have a small Chevy Cavalier I wondered if I could park on the sidewalk. That way I could protect myself from the elements and save my space in line!
IceQueen Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Go to the Dollar Store. Buy a bunch of ponchos. Sell them in line.
aprilbaseballmo Posted November 19, 2006 Author Posted November 19, 2006 LOL...you all are so funny...I figured umbrella, and ponchos. I was hoping for a little secret in how to deal with it!!
elena_398 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Even if it rains hard, I won't deal with holding an umbrella. Poncho is the way to go.
theboyzmom Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 umbrella....get a cheap one that you can toss into the trash can as you run into the store
o6blink Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Drive your truck onto the sidewalk and stay warm and dry. HAHA, Thats what a true Texan would do.That's what I'm doing. It's a ford F350 Diesel I am pulling right up on the side walk. Except I'm not from Texas.. but possibly even more rednecky, Delaware.
