Wal-Mart Deals Got Even Better

Well yesterday, I was bound and determined not to go to Wal-Mart (it's a rat race even without having the BF deals), but after I got done shopping at all the other stores, and after I went and saw National Treasure, I figured why not stop by and see what was going on (it was 4 pm).

Well to my surprise they had ordered so much stuff that TVs, DVD players, DVDs, and those little household appliances where lined up EVERYWHERE. You couldn't even see down the frozen food isle because there where so many tvs.

I decided to grab a DVD player for $28 and a few of the $3.88 DVDs and $4.77 appliances. I was considering getting a TV, but decided naw I don't need another one (I got the $699 42" TV from CircuitCity that morning). As I was leaving the store they marked everything down lower than the ad price. I decided what the heck and got the $178.00 TV for $150 and I picked up two DVD players $28 for $18. I also noticed that the computers that were $498 were marked down to $398 and they had TONS of them.

Plus there were cashiers waiting for people to come through. Overall I would say it was a dissapointing day for that Wal-Mart, but a great day for me. A new 32" Emerson TV and small DVD/CD player for $180.

I am a cashier at Walmart and we priced matched the Dvd/cd player with meijers. Turned out Meijers didnt have many so people were happy when they relized we price matched all our dvd players. Yeah we had tons of merchandise also, we ended up selling way past the 5 hour advertized ad.

At mine, this would have been on Saturday, my family and I went to see the one and only spongebob. After that I had to go to Wally world to get some pictures. Whilst I was there I figured I would go and look well, my gosh they have already started to put the toys on clearance. Hubby and I spent about 100, for birthday gifts. My girls are done for christmas so we figured why not. We are now so far a head that we will be going on a little honey moon next year. Watch out for old navy, then I won't have to buy school clothes either. Oh man and the DVD players we ended up buying three for 18.00. Can't beat that with a stick.

WOW, they dont mark the stuff down here. They just keep it marked at the advertised price until they are all gone. I know the other day ours still had TONS and TONS of dvd players, and computers left.

Same thing here. DVD players all over the place. But not marked down. The only thing I saw marked down was the HUGE nutcrakers for 96 where marked 75. Wish I had a bigger house! LOL (and car there is no way I could get those suckers home)

I left for South Carolina (in fact I am there now) Friday afternoon and we stopped in a 24 hr Walmart in PA and at 10pm they still had alot of stuff at the am prices! I bought a portable DVD player and about 5 of the $3.88 DVDs!

Also in the 4.77 small appliances they had the fondue maker, and the sandwich maker.

Our WM still has the dvd players and the computers. Didn't notice if they were marked down or not. I was flashing through there the last time I was in there to pick up stuff needed for the animals in our house. Gotta spoil them too. :)

I found a huge stack of the DVD players and the Apex portable DVD players. I picked up a DVD player for my daughter's room and contemplated the Apex portable player. I am still not sure if I am going to be happy with that small of a screen. I didn't even go to WalMart on BF or Target for that matter. Those have been the first two stores I have hit in the past few years. So dissapointed, but I have high hopes for the next few weeks!

$448 computer here, and most of the small appliances. I was holding out extreme hope that there were still some $20 LeapPad sets, but no. *sigh*

Oh, the $7.88 LeapPad books(in the current ad) are a very small selection. Only ones at our store were 2 Quantum Pad books my son already has.

I was there again today and they still had a bunch of the 4.77 appliances but they were moved over by the food, and of coarse I wanted more leapfrog books and ours were out :(

I picked up an electric knife and a food chopper today. Items that before were not something I would buy but for $4.77 they will be nice to have around.

Ooh, went to a different Walmart, and found 1 quantum Pad book for 7.88, that DS doesn't already have. And I managed to find 1 of the $20 LeapPad systems. I was in a good mood yesterday!

Well I hit Another Walmart in the area yesterday and they had the Big nutcrackers now for 50.00. Darn I wish I had a bigger house!!!!!

They still had the lead pad books for 7.88 and tons of puters and DVD players but not marked down at that store.

Mine is swimming in the $4.77 small appliances. Dvd players too. Im thinking of buying one for my son's room. I bought too much for christmas already so I would just give him that! LOL, I do this every year. My husband expects it so he just rolls his eyes when I make the pre-christmas promise that I won't buy too much for the kids. Im so glad for those quarterly bonuses!
