stationchief
Has anyone seen any deals on this yet anywhere?I've seen "Guitar Hero 2" at BB, with and without the guitar controller. Dunno if it's on sale now or if it's gonna be for BF. Maybe someone has GH1 on sale because of the second one being released?
powell416
So far I've not seen anything. Looking for GH 2 for my ds and have a hard time paying $80 for something that's probably gonna be really fun for about a week and then become a dust collector!! VaderGCP
GUITAR HERO has single handedly revived the lives of PS2s around the country. It's not a dust collector after a month. Its one of the best games ever made for the PS2 thats great for the whole family. If you're family's cool enough to like metal and other classic rock songs. GHI has a better tracklist but GHII has improved gameplay altogether. Plus, it has Freebird. :) I don't think you'll see either on sale since GHI has dropped to about 60 dollars now, with guitar. and the new one retails at 80 with guitar. I did noticed that BB is selling the unofficial wireless guitar for 40 bucks which is great, but ugly guitar, so I think that's going to be the only GUITAR HERO related deal on BF. Seriously, everyone loves it. No other game can you play Bark at the Moon and More Than A Feeling and feel like a rockstar.

VaderGCP
Buy the kid a violin or piano. I regret never knowing how to play something classical as a young kid.
JediBaja
GH is awsome and I can't wait to play the second one tomorrow when I pick it up. If you're a fan of rhythm games like DDR, Donkey Konga, Taiko Drum Master - GH is a must! I believe overstock.com was selling GH bundle for like $40 last week, but I don't know if the deal is still going on though. For videogame deals definitely check out cheapassgamer.com. You need to register for the forums, but it's free!

masylimed
I just bought Guitar Hero I w/guitar and game set at Sam's Club in Dayton, Ohio yesterday for $55.00. The price sticker on the box said that it was $66.23, but it rang up for $55.00! They also had Guitar Hero II w/guitar and game for $73 and change, I think. matrix2004
Ok so, is this anything like MTV music generator, which i love or do you actually learn to play guitar with the guitar controller?
sm1kla
Does anyone know if you can plug in 2 guitars and play together?
meetooo
The best deal i found, after hitting all over the net, is buy.com with the google checkout deal. there is more YMMV deals, with buy.com with other codes (see naughty codes.com) but i got tired of trying. i got it for $45 shipped (game). Yes, by the way, you can use both guitars at the same time. My son, who is 14, and really talented, and has his own band, LOVES this game. In fact, they play this more than they practice. It all feels educational to me, after watching, so ... what the hey! PS... i got him the demo disc free, in a PS2 magazine. i think it was PS2 World. it is still available i believe. and worth the $7 i paid a winco for it. :)
VaderGCP
Does anyone know if you can plug in 2 guitars and play together? Yes, but GHI and GHII have different multiplayer modes. GHI is only Versus. Two people go back and forth during one song playing different parts of it. It's fun but always leads to "You got the easy solo" arguments. GHII has improved this by adding many more gameplay modes. You can play Versus still, but this time it's Note-For-Note for both players so theyre practically dueling. Theres also CO-OP which is the best. Two players play the same song but one guy takes care of Lead Guitar while the other takes care of their Rythim Guitar or Bass. GHII is much better gameplay wise but GHI has a better tracklist. Thats reason enough to own both.
