Malak Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 BB and CC are right next to each other here... actually staples is right there too. And Walmart is just down the road... but probably BB first. At least until I see ads for the other places. Looking at getting the Insignia 26" HDTV for $280, that's perfect for my budget and saves room for maybe a gift for someone.
Trish1298 Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I imagine Walmart. Can't wait to see that ad though.
Melissa Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Nope, still waiting on some decent ads to come out.
sm1kla Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 We always start at walmart and price match as much as we can. We can often skip some stores that my have had an item or two that we are interested in.
littlemama Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Wal-Mart - I'm crazy just like the rest of 'em.
cherry33778 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 So far it's Best Buy then Walmart, but if Walmart has the better deal then i'll switch the order.
smurf94409 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I see most people want to start at Walmart. I went once and it didn't work so well and there is usually a stor of people fighting. I actually try to stay far away from it. Are the other Walmarts like this?
Christy Garner Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Walmart, Target, Kohls, Sears -- possibly in that order but I know Walmart will be FIRST.
RossMAN Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 CompUSA assuming they open at midnight like last year.
ebony0421 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Best buy is the first stop and I'mma peeking at a laptop. :yup:
mom2maddynsky Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I see most people want to start at Walmart. I went once and it didn't work so well and there is usually a stor of people fighting. I actually try to stay far away from it. Are the other Walmarts like this?i have done my bf shopping at wal mart first for the last three years and have never had a problem nor have I seen a problem. and have been lucky enough to get what i went for evey year.
mistyinca Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 So far it's looking like BB. I'm still waiting for the CC and Target ads. My shopping center has Target, Staples, BB, and Kohl's. So even though I'd like to find a better deal, it would be difficult if it were outside my home cluster of stores.
Princess7915 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 We usually shop at J C Penny first or Sears. Depends on what's in the Penny's ad. We have both in one mall, so we can hit them both. Then we normally go to Kohls, then Walmart -because all the crazy people are gone by then
BCBGirl Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I'm all about shoes so... where ever the best shoe prices are..I'll be there! Maybe Aldo, but maybe not?
jellybean051901 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Unless WM has something really good it looks like BB will be my first stop this year
rogue1230 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I think it is going to wind up being Walmart, but there is discussion if Walmsrt is stinky heading to th mall for the KB opening.
star1979 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 May send parents to Wal-mart and I will be at best buy, they are in the same shopping center.
jcarr492 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 We'll be camping out at Best buy AGAIN this year. ayiyiyiyi but I want another desktop...we got the emachines desktop last year after camping out all night..dh and I were 3rd and 4th in line ALL night. lol That computer is still going strong..but I hate the CRT monitor...so huge. So my girls will get this one and I'll be getting the new one for this year! woo hoo...now all I'll need is a wireless router.
peachysquirt21 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I will be heading to BB for the DVDs then I am off to Shopko. :)
codeblue Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 First stop is Meijer, they too PM and there are quite a few things in their ad that I would like to get.
elena_398 Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 All my store ads came in the paper today. It was so thick it got my heart racing. LOL. Sad, but the only place I wanted something was Walmart. I will price match a couple items from Target and Kmart though there.
jam265 Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Walmart. They say they will price match all like deals, no bogo, no % off, just plain old, plain old, so off I go with all the adds, my excel worksheet and my kids dream list. Then will be staples, kohls, and Walgreens for the peanuts! gotta make trash mix.
madnmas Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 So far I think I am going to be in line at Sears. I am not desperate for any toy and DS15 has asked for a leather jacket. I also want the air compressor and some other tools. It will be the first time I have not gone to Wal-mart first if I stick to this plan. What about you?I still can't get over how terrible WM is this year. My first stop? My one and only stop? You can get everything you want on-line and there is literally no need to get out. Unless standing in long lines and pushing and shoving makes you feel all warm inside.
yogiyb Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 For better or worse, it's going to be Best Buy. It's an "all in" gamble but I hope at 4:30am tomorrow to be Charlie Bucket singing "I've got the golden tickets".
Mike Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 CompUSA will be first for me, just b/c they're opening today.
sbwolfer Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 For me it's our local mall to hit KB Toys and Radio Shack. The mall is opening at 3 am. Then it is over to Target, then on to Sears and a few others.
uscboy Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Staples. I like seeing that no one else picked that one.
