LOL....I met her one time when I was in elementary school. Our town was having a "Just Say No" rally at a local mall. Whoop!

I am going to wait until after Christmas to put in an order for snapfish, etc... I might just get some good pictures and can use all the codes then...but then it may not be good. We'll see.

I don't know what is going on....I even called walgreens about their website..whenever I get to the portion of checkout where you put in your zip...the next screen says to check the location you want to use and it is a blank box with no addresses in it. They said to clear my cookies, everything..it is still happening. This is getting on my last nerve. I can't order.

I know this...if you read my post in its entirety I established that fact within minutes of posting.

My next venture (LOL)...getting a mug that keeps my coffee INFERNO HOT. I can't stand drinking lukewarm coffee... I may just end up buying a decent looking thermos. I don't drink coffee fast and I can't stand going to the microwave to heat it up. :)

One thing I will enjoy about my percolator is the rich flavor of the coffee...with the drip, that water is just going to go straight through....One thing I don't get is how the grinds won't go through. I know they don't...but how? LOL

Hey everyone...I have an update on a coffee pot. After much investigating, I decided to get a Farberware percolator. Like another poster said, I think the novelty of having the grinder within the coffee pot is nothing more than that, making it truly unnecessary. I was going to go with Cuisinart but many reviews stated the grinder sounds like a lawnmower starting up and who wants to wake up to that? Also, the Cuisinart was known for making messes. There were way to many negative reviews on that one. I hope I am happy...the endless positive reviews say I will be...The thing with investigating on the internet is that there will always be a bad review...someone will always purchase that ONE item that is a lemon. My DH said I just had to weigh it all out. I'm excited.... One Negative- I ordered it from Amazon with the super saver shipping and it will not be here until the 3rd week of January!!! Until then...here's to my instant Taster's Choice My in-laws use a percolator and the coffee has such a richer flavor. Because I am the only one drinking the stuff with "once-in-a-while-visitors" I decided to go with the 2-8 cup percolator. It does not have a programmable timer...I would have had to go to the 12 cup percolator for that.

I am looking to buy my first coffee pot. I am the only one in the house that drinks it and I am tired of Taster's Choice Instant. I don't even know where to begin to look...and to get reviews, too. I want one that will benefit me (a few cups a day) but also when family comes I can make a big pot. I also want a bean grinder included. I want to find the best deal (I can do that on my own)...I just want to know which coffee maker out there is the best...and how do I look for it? Thanks, Ginny

How funny. Reminds me of a small period of time where my DH and I would both be in bed and then the light would still be on. We were both so headstrong and would not get out of bed. I can count a number of times where we were in bed the entire night with the light on. LOL.

So if you look around at the freebie forum you've all seen the link to the Chik-Fil-A million nugget giveaway. Anyone who won got a coupon for a small tray of nuggets. So I get my coupon and decide to go to the mall and eat there while shopping. I plan in advance that I will just buy some coleslaw and a drink and my kids and I will be set. So I'm thinking there will probably be about 20 nuggets on this tray..it's a small and should be bigger than there average combo meal. Anyhow, I get the tray and there is atleast 50-75 nuggets on this thing!!!!!! I actually heard two ladies giggling about it sitting across from us. I just took out what we would be eating and wrapped the rest up I was so embarrassed. Good grief.

Why does everyone always blame everything on "friends"? Suuuuuuuuuuuure.........riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. We gotcha. No...really.

I would love to have the can opener attachment...sad thing is, it's $50....

I need some advice AND direction. I do not know that much about digital cameras. I got my mom a Kodak C633 6MP 3x Zoom camera. I do not know what type of SD to buy for it...and where is the cheapest. This is just your basic point and shoot. The SD can be wal-mart brand for all I care...I just don't know the specifications for the SD. Are SD's universal? Thanks for your help.

weird....when you search or it on-line through target you cannot find it...but if you follow the link that gottadeal provides, you can locate it...why is that? either way, I snagged me one...and I am happy to say I am on the side that got one before they went out of stock...I was unlucly last week when the FUJI 6.3 MP went on sale for 98 at BB.

I still can't get over how terrible WM is this year. My first stop? My one and only stop? You can get everything you want on-line and there is literally no need to get out. Unless standing in long lines and pushing and shoving makes you feel all warm inside.

edit to addd: I happened to notice that target does not have a "secure" checkout when ordering on line with credit card. I called and they said the system only shows the last 5 numbers....hmmmmm...I just prefer to look up and see that little lock symbol with a yellow colored bar.
