pogiporkchop Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 What is one thing you'd like to get that doesn't cost a lot ($10 or less)? Every year I have to look at all the different gift sets you find only during the holidays and there's at least 5 I want but of course nobody gets them for me...
shopping mom Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I would like to get a nice manicure set. Simple I know but I could really use one in a nice case so I do not lose the pieces.
peachysquirt21 Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Nothin... LOL I have sat here for the past 10 minutes thinkin about this & cannot come up with anything. LOL I am so bad past few years the people who do buy for me ask me what I want & I pretty much tell them DVDs. LOL I am so addicted to DVDs. LOL
ms_mckenna Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I usually get the Walmart Disney stuff from the kids you know the "Christmas Cook baskets" I usually get a few of those. Which is fine my Kitchen is in Disney so it works out well for me. I always tell them save the reciept so the day after I can take it back and get it and something else since they always drop the price.
copados1993 Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Some nice bubble bath and a coupon from my kids for 15 minutes of quiet/alone time.
peachysquirt21 Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Some nice bubble bath and a coupon from my kids for 15 minutes of quiet/alone time. Are you sure just 15 min.? heh
copados1993 Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Are you sure just 15 min.? hehOk, how about 30 LOL????? I don't think my kids could go much more then that. The world would fall apart as they know it.
laffnatu Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 A nice bath pillow or some great smelling bubble bath. I don't like the blow up plastic pillows. Lately I have been folding a bath towel in half and using it. lol.
laffnatu Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Ok, how about 30 LOL????? I don't think my kids could go much more then that. The world would fall apart as they know it. It used to be the same around here until the kids got older. Now I just ask them if they have to pee because I'm not coming out until I'm ready once I'm in there.
pogiporkchop Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 I could use a minimum of two weeks alone time since I haven't had any kind of vacation or break in five years! :)
monkey Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I think a coupon book with different chores EX: a night where DH cooks, five loads of laundry washed dried folded and put away, a top to bottom scrub of the bathroom of their choice etc. This would be the ideal gift and I could just pass the coupons out on those days or weeks where work has been brutal and I could use a break.
drmy91 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I would take two weeks alone.. Havent had time alone for more than a couple hrs in 14 yrs... they cant do it without me I guess..
Cecilliadb Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I would love to see my DH in person, so my real Christmas present will be delayed about 3 weeks till his home coming :) That will be the real Christmas. Material wise, I want the bed frame I've had my eye on for about a year.
berry1014 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I would love a white Christmas...where it starts snowing on Christmas Eve and ends on Christmas day. Haven't had a white Christmas in 7 years and the last one we did have was a result from a snow storm on the 23rd.
Guest bluesrule9 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Actually, my problem is I buy all the stuff I want that I can afford....so that only leaves the expensive stuff for everyone to buy me......
luv2shopnc Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I would like for my husband to participate in the Christmas traditions that I am trying to create with our kids.
momof5plus1hubby Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 New clothes that only I will pick out:p
fmdjgirl Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 just a few random ones I can think of manicure, a new book, sushi, movie night basket, candles but most of all I'd like a night out with the hubby. Even if it was just 10 bucks for ice cream, I love nights with just him.
verusca Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 ..reassurance.....that every child no matter what age, keeps or atleast has known the true spirit of Christmas and the magic that comes with the season
motoXmom Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Well right around the $10 is the Ove Glove! I love those things! But since mine are still in great shape I have no idea.
misshayley Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I have no idea, that has been the problem. DH keeps asking me what I want and I don't have any idea.
lazerith75 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I always ask for a new pair of slippers and no one ever remembers to get them for me. Maybe this year...
caramel Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 The world's softest, sweetest socks from BBW.
zoemariesmamma Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 It used to be the same around here until the kids got older. Now I just ask them if they have to pee because I'm not coming out until I'm ready once I'm in there. it seems like no one in my house has to pee until I get in there!!
