We always make this the night before, let it rise and cook it in the morning. I got this off of a famous recipe sight on the Internet, so unfortunately I can't take credit for this fabulous recipe. All I know is EVERYONE requests it for every event\holiday!! It IS very fattening, so I only make them on special occassions. But it is sooooooo good, thought I would share.

Clone of a Cinnabon

INGREDIENTS

1 cup warm milk (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

2 eggs, room temperature

1/3 cup margarine, melted

4 1/2 cups bread flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup white sugar

2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1/3 cup butter, softened

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle; press Start.

After the dough has doubled in size turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.

Roll dough into a 16x21 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 cup butter and sprinkle evenly with sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes. While rolls are baking, beat together cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.

I love to bake pumpkin bread in a jar(pint sz canning jar) and hand it out to my neighbors for Christmas presents. It's always such a big hit. Thanks for the recipe I'll have to try this.

Exactly how do you bake it in a jar? This sounds like something I'd like to do! :gdlicklips:

I've been asked to post this recipe on here..i hope this is a good spot.

PUMPKIN (CREAM CHEESE) ROLL

Cake:

3 eggs

1 cup sugar

2/3 cup canned pumpkin

1 t baking soda

1 t cinnamon

1/2 t nutmeg

3/4 cup flour

Filling:

one 8-ounce package cream cheese

4 T Butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 t vanilla

also needed:

wax paper and aluminum foil

clean linen towel (not terry cloth)

powdered sugar and sieve

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar. Beat in remaining cake ingredients. Grease a 10X15inch jelly roll pan (I just use a cookie sheet that has sides). Line the pan with wax paper, then grease and lightly flour the waxed paper. Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350, for 15 min. Cake cooks fast, so watch carefully to avoid burning the edges. While cake is baking, sprinkle powdered sugar heavily over the kitchen towel, using a sieve or sifter. Turn hot cake onto the towel. (watch the powdered sugar makes a mess.) Remove wax paper. Trim off any burnt or crusty edges. Sprinkle more powdered sugar over the hot cake and quickly roll up with towel inside. (careful not to crack the cake.) Let cake cool completely, about 30 min.
Meanwhile, prepare the filling by beating together all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Carefully unroll cake and spread with filling mixture. Roll up cake with filling inside. Wrap with wax paper then foil. refrigerate or freeze. To serve, slice cake about 1/3 inch thick and sprinkle with more powdered sugar.
Note: Cuts best when still slightly frozen.
I was pm'd and asked to share the brie recipe. Here it is.
Brie with Hot Pecan Caramel Sauce
1 5 inch wheel brie cheese
1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup pecan halves
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 baguette -- sliced thin
Warm a sharp slicing knife in very hot tap water and carefully cut the top rind off the brie wheel. As a slicing guide, you can insert skewers into the cheese just below the rind. Let the knife blade rest on the skewers as you slice off the rind.
In a sauce pot combine the sugar and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half and sauce is dark brown. Remove from heat and add the pecans and cream. Stir well. Return mixture to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about another 4-5 minutes. Remove pan from heat and stir in butter.
Place the brie on a large plate. While it is still hot, pour the caramel and pecan mixture evenly over the brie, letting some of the caramel run over the sides of the cheese. Surround the finished brie with baguette slices and serve.
NOTES : A brie wheel covered with a hot pecan caramel sauce looks lavish, tastes great and yet is simple to do. You can prepare the caramel several days in advance. On the day of your party, let the cheese warm to room temperature, reheat the sauce, and pour it on just as guests arrive. Baguette slices or whole-grain crackers make this appetizer complete.
Cherry Cream Pie
1 8oz bar of cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c milk
........................................
1 box of instant vanilla pudding
1 can cherry pie filling
1 baked pie shell
slowly beat the first three ingredients together until smooth add the pudding
reserve ½ cup of the cherries for garnishing the top of the pie, marble/swirl in the rest of the cherries into the pudding/cream cheese mix you want it marble looking not totally mixed in. Pour into a pie shell smooth out and either cover with cool whip and dot with remaining cherries which is my choice. Or you can follow the original recipe which calls for just dotting the cherries on without cool whip. The cool whip way is much more elegant looking
Add 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Here is a recipe for sweet potatoe casserole. Very Yummy!
3 large sweet potatoes
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
Topping:
1 cup chopped pecans (I use about 2 cups because I like them all over the top)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1/4 in slices
Bake, drain and mash (it's about 5 per potato in the microwave, and I have no idea how long it would take in a real oven)
Beet with beaters, stop and pull out any strings from the potatoes
Add butter and sugar while mixing
add milk, vanilla, and eggs
Milx well and put in 8 x 12 buttered dish (I use glass)
Bake for 20 - 30 minutes at 400 degrees or until heated through.
Mix the pecan topping and spread over casserole, bake an additional 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown
